my personal take is that yes he deserves it. He was part of 2 of the best seasons in our history, won the fa cup and generally was responsible for some amazing football. Yes he was part of a relegation, but I think we all agree that we we’re doomed no matter the personnel. Without him we’d have been down far sooner. My favourite player of all time (Muzzy) achieved far less and was part of relegations as well. If people appreciate what he achieved then they’re entitled to show it. We have a lot of overly bitter fans who just love to hate.

i know he’s not shown it here but I kept up to date with his loan and that performance was pretty much what you got from him as standard in italy. If we get him confident and the players around him knowing his game, he can be lethal.

easy to forget how good some of our players are. Buonnanotte is sublime. Kristiansen was Bologna Victor. Vesty and faes solid. Justin as well tbf. Hemanson some solid hands. Vardy doing what he does. Wilf with a monster game and huge clearance. Winksy kept everything ticking over Bdr kinda proved why so many were underwhelmed with the signing… just not an improvement on what we have. And soumare was the same old donkey

Unfortunately this becomes a deadline day wait to see if they lower the price. Nobody’s paying 30m. To be honest i don’t see anything wrong with offering 5m in add ons if we survive. But after the skipp deal i’d be surprised if we have another 25m around.

if you can defend well enough you can have fun against spurs. Problem is though, we can’t defend

tactically will be interesting tonight. Early in the season last year teams sat back against spurs and they dominated. But then they got found out. Their relentless high line left glaring holes all game, teams stopped sitting back and countered hard. Their results dropped off and they went from looking a top 4 side to europa league at best. Considering people say Cooper is all about the fast counter attack this game is perfect for him on paper. There should be space to get mavididi and fatawu in behind the full backs. If we can’t create a chance against this team then it really will be as bad as we are expecting this season.

My personal take is that this deal signifies that the other players coming in are low budget, free or a loan. This will be the only big move we make. Could mean ayew is done and the striker is certainly a loan at this point… most likely one of chelsea’s spare parts. Hope for Broja I guess. i’d assume our deals are all done behind the scenes. There’s no other logical sense for us to be signing off on 20m for a player in this position. I don’t think even were stupid enough for that.
