Person you want to get us out this mess
Lambert09 replied to broughtonblue's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’ve seen this thread a few times but thought it said Pearson you want. I was expecting it to be different photos of Nige and people picking which one was the best -
Anything can happen in the run in. Teams that actually fight for it can pull off stranger results. If we aren’t clear 4 games out we will drop. Because we are so mentally fragile. Don’t back any of what we have to step up

Realistic Managerial Replacements

I think dyche is more possible than people think. He just seems to love football and has a point to prove. I think he will want to be back in a job as soon as possible. Now that our situation is clear, I think he would be open to considering it. He was more than happy at burnley with very little room to maneuver, so I think for him a job like ours with the talent available would have lots of pro’s. I think what we discovered in the summer, is that we simply didn’t approach him -

If history has taught me anything… it’s that x is going to be potter -
Insane to sack a manager after a really unlucky result like that. They’ve been grinding out results for the most part, really not sure what they were expecting

Should have gone all in to get dyche in the summer. Absolutely what we need rn -
You are also forgetting Puel

Simply because we have no real network. We are the laziest club in England it’s been evident for a long while. It’s all about who someone at the club knows or our friendly agents and who they put forward. When petty was here we went after villa youth cast offs, that was our youth strategy. If it doesn’t fall in our lap we aren’t interested

If Vk isn’t up to speed yet the only option for Thomas would be aluko. Many of us would welcome that but playing devils advocate, the last time aluko was thrown in against Southampton he got sent off. Many of us said it was unfair to throw him in for that game as they do have very tricky wingers. It’s never as simple as it appears and maybe king was simply waiting for the cup game to get aluko up to speed. Thomas has to go; we all know that but we are limited

With his age and stats, I’d be surprised if we couldn’t get £25m unless it’s clear we are in a fire sale situation

Expected this thread to be about Ruud so it’s not off to a great start for me

Would you say Walsh is locked in? Or would there be a fear he would come with him? I think the only real reason I’d want smith is the potential Walsh might come and save our sorry board -

I think Hassenhutl would be a welcome appointment. One of the few that I’d like to get a good pre-season under and would be able to build. I know we are in a sorry state but I still don’t want to go down the fire fighter route. -

Has he done a good job over there mate? -
Nelson might be one of the few sellable assets, he will be long gone probably for peanuts as well.

LCFC 3-4 Southampton, post-match thread

Not sure that would be fair. We actually looked very good and there was great effort all over the park. But the second half the effort dropped off a cliff, everyone looked exhausted and the changes made everything worse. as soon as they got one, it was one of those games that you just felt that it was coming. Similar to the Middlesbrough game where we just dropped further and further back and you knew that the inevitable was coming. -

Well the thing with football, is the worst thing that can happen is apathy. Because at that stage you’ve lost a hobby you cared about. But it feels like many of us might have already reached this -

Growing up, when we lost 4-3 to wolves after being 3-0 up that felt like one of worst days of my life. The fact that this just feels like a standard day as a Leicester fan says it all. I’m numb to the club now -
Bigger and louder than ever!!!

If it takes getting relegated to get them out, I’m all for it!

I’ve never seen Moore lose composure before. We are absolutely in the mud -
We can’t just have one nice day can we

We all know it, he’s just a step above and really helps us tick. All depends on his attitude if he’s good for king then keep him in the side. As long as there’s zero tolerance for more of his nonsense
