Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

He’s not really a cb and not really a left back. I’d imagine he needs to be part of a back 3 to flourish. Not what we need. Great passing range though

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi

Without disrespect, in your league yes. Prem is too much for him these days but he was a class above in the championship even in an unsuited role. He is better suited to a dominant team and I think he will become a good player for you -
I read from another source that they were dropping the initial cost to 3m not dropping the cost. Just the structure they were requesting, very likely to help us with the psr concerns. I think sky have just twisted that news

the only clubs who don’t look like they have any sniff are sheff w, qpr, preston, bristol c and blackburn. Genuinely think everyone else has had a good summer. oxford spanked malaga 3-0 the other day. jones is always a wild card manager. even derby have done good business. anything could happen genuinely

Sheff Wed -10th Aug 16:30 - First up?

genuinely think this might just be the worst time to play them. in a few weeks all the fight will be gone but they will be bang up for this. Feels like it will be like when you play a lower league club who are bang up for the fa cup. -

i know this isn’t relevant to the topic, but seeing wilf here just made me think about how ludicrous it was that youri was flying to sign on an easy jet, a row infront of big daddy’s daddy -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
Lambert09 replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
I would think he would still put his all in. I mean, he even did in the last pre-season friendly, which was unexpected in the circumstance but he ran himself into the ground. It’s also not a situation where we are blocking him, it’s clubs not going for him. I get the impression he will crack on whatever way this goes. -
I think it was Dorset who tweeted that fatawu has prem club admires
-
Was worried this would happen. They won’t meet our value, he will refuse to go to turkey and we end up loaning him out to Valencia
-
He has a very good pre-season as well. People thinking he has a slight chance of getting starts
-
My season prediction is that soumare has a moderate to okay season and if we go up he gets a new 3 year deal on the same wage. It’s just a too predictable trap for us to fall in

I found the Cambodian terror suspect

I love the way someone in marketing thought they were being clever with a subliminal arrow pointing to a sponsor. Now we are all at a loss on where to take our crypto gambling patronage

the toney comparisons may be a little lazy but it’s obviously the closest you can come to a best case example. if you look at the below, when toney was 21 in league one, he had just gone to wigan, combining with his scunthorpe numbers he hit 12, this was probably the year he started to develop. the next season toney hit 22 g & a’s and kone hit 21 this season. Toney followed that up with 29 g and a’s and moved for 6m plus add ons… which indicates that 5m for Kone is very good value after inflation. Fingers crossed his trajectory could match that of Toney the reason toneys numbers increases the next year was partially because Brentford create more than peterborough and you can argue Kone would get more chances with us this season than he did at wycombe and by some distance. So if he’s a natural goal scorer he would do well, where the test would come is in the prem. because he would have to create more for himself in the prem and would live on more scraps, something toney does well and an area Kone struggled at in the second half of the season at wycombe. But at 5m, if it was just for this season it would be worth it. So despite my reservations, it’s just too good value to turn down.

I seriously doubt a club will come in for him until he’s proven to have fully shaken off the injury. it’s too much of a risk
-
i think it’s more likely we just gamble on selling them at the start of next summer. which if i was playing footy manager is what i’d be doing if the right bids weren’t coming in

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)
Lambert09 replied to SouthStandUpperTier's topic in Transfer Talk
Really hope we don’t do the obvious and sell JJ and then buy target -
Not so sure on that, if daka was a cb, Kasey probably gets a pen
-
Good bit of business from the club not losing him on a free in the end. Shame he couldn’t raise his game last year, he’s one who seemed happy to be here but his legs have aged so poorly
-
Thought he looked far more comfortable today. He’s quietly had a decent pre-season imo.
-
Yep, whisper it quietly but ayew is better
-
Can’t see a pathway for Alves at the moment, especially if bilal stays. Wycombe would be a great move for him tbf
-
The options are usually pretty good because they have no intent of ever paying it
-
Problem is, fiorentina might be thinking exactly that after today
