I'm not convinced & feel it's a big gamble to take him into the Premier as it's not like he's setting the Championship alight. We will have Sensi for that little bit of star dust & he also has more bite about him than Yunus i just don't see the point of both. We won't be afforded time for games to pass him by whilst he adjusts to the speed of the Premier, i would rather a more experienced Premier head along the lines of Barkley who has more about him physically (including height) as well as being a tidy player to sit in that 8 role especially for our 1st season back which we can then build on.

Not a chance in hell it would happen in football 😂 Realised as I was driving I guess it stops due to the shortened season with losing 3 clubs, if they continued through 6N then the league would finish beginning of March & before completion of 6N

I’m struggling to think if this is out of the norm, I’m sure the league used to carry on during the 6N and Tigers were always severely hit with the amount of 1st teamer’s away just like the beginning of this season with WC. It’s typical that we have a relatively strong squad remaining when the likes of Northampton, Quinn’s etc are pretty depleted with their big players away but the league stops, we could have used this time to catch up.

Been saying for sometime now that 1&3 are the positions we really need to look at strengthening it’s the weakest part of the squad currently.

He might have been sent back due to loan rules being different for a Premier Lge team, they need goals so better to get a loan player in that can provide/add than say wasting a slot on a LB especially as there has also been a change in management & therefore style, Wilder goes with a back 3 kinda makes a LB redundant. Wilder only left SU 2 seasons ago so could also default to players he knows from that period I don't see Thomas being sent back from SU as a marker that he will never make it as a premier player just because its SU but merely a change in circumstance.

I wonder if hearing about / speaking to Sven pushed his decision forward. ALL clubs are running scared of FFP & PSR hence why it has been 1 of the quietest january windows on record, compare this to 2023 window where £800m was spent in the premier lge yet this month only £50m has been spent with a single player taking almost half of that spend at Spurs. The prediction is that summer will also be very lean, if the rich clubs stop spending it has a knock-on effect down the tree & clubs like us will be unable to move players on for permanent fees.
