We were always winning this and I guess we went strong as 1st game back from winter break so to get them clicking but shame about the likes of Draper not being able to come on when job done
-
As good as Will Skelton is he is still a bloody cheat
-
To further add to the context, we have 19 games still to play and we problem only need to win between 8 to 10 of those and looking at the 19 games I think we will be ok
-
Odd team selection as gone full out except for changing the keeper & No Draper on the bench either which unless injured would have been ideal game to get some 1st team action in š¤·āāļø

Those suggesting itās just idiots mouthing off and itās football it happens donāt give it the time of day & that itās a waste of police resource if they pull individuals for it really think itās harmless & if ignored it it will go away? Do they also thinking wolf whistling the female official or telling them to get back in the kitchen is ok as itās football they should just ignore it, after all itās aimed at someone else a, so why should people get personally offended? Society is changing and a whole raft of things that were deemed āokā in yesterday year are no long appropriate today. There is legislation against offensive & tragedy chanting done anywhere, this isnāt police just going overboard on football supporters, nor is it police or soft centred individuals trying to suppress stadium atmospheres, itās vile and goes against social values & should rightly be pulled up. This isnāt just 2 isolated incidents against Leicester it happens up and down the country every week affecting the lives of people in various degrees, people I donāt even know but people Iād rather stand behind than these green street type wannabes trying to act the big men. Would they sing these chants to their gran or go into their work place, a place were they could get fired (cancelled) for incorrectly calling someone he/she and sing these chantsā¦.probably not so why in a stadium?

As soon as OāHare saw his heels go back and down he just shifted it past him Faes couldnāt move due to being planted itās physics I guess

As well as potential bugs the Series also suggested that there was no test environment & therefore all training was done on a live system. Bear in mind this system was brand new so Fujitsu staff would be using it to train as well as helpline staff all in real time.

I don't believe so & i'd imagine they are in the same boat as us with finances seeing as they have already loaned out a lot of big hitters prior to the season starting. Would seem odd to get rid of your captain & a steady & experienced player at this stage of the season. Farke has just said he doesn't expect to be busy as usually players who are available in january are young, not getting games or coming back from injury & these players don't tend to strengthen your starting options. I guess Ayling could have asked to go out to get more playing time but Leeds have a young squad with a very little in the way of battled experience so you wouldn't have thought they would agree. Archie Gray is actually a midfielder playing RB there now isn't any backup with transfers & injurys, they also have a major issue with injures to their LBs..still all good for us i guess.
-
Leeds letting Luke Ayling go out on loan for the last 6mths of his contract & especially to Boro seems a weird 1. He always struck me as a Leeds through & through player, loves the club fans love him, always delivered for them, non stop running etc etc & was Captain for the majority of the games he played before being benched, you wonder if there were words spoken between him & Farke. Ok he's 32 & did lose his place to young Archie Gray but then it was him or Spence & given the reports on Spence you'd think Ayling would be 1st choice backup & the fact they have wobbled recently you'd want that experience around the place a little like we are doing with Sharkey. Just seems a strange 1

The Yorkshire Post trying to make out we are buying the league & that it's not a level playing field with the headline of "Leeds United promotion rivals 'in talks' for Ā£21 million midfielder" they don't even mention the ā¬2m at anytime in the body of the article & that is what other clubs fans will just pick up on, the fact at somepoint in his career he was rated at 21m & ignore the fact they they could also buy him now for ā¬2m.
-
Still no Cags he got more game time with us, I wonder what heās thinking š¤
-
I personally would rather him than say Yunis

The caught on camera 1...was shocking wasn't it bloody men & their ego's

Development/Youth Squads 2023/2024 Thread - U18/U21

Six academy grads in one game Thanks to the rotation by Maresca for the FA Cup tie at Millwall at the weekend, six of the 13 players to feature were graduates from Cityās academy: Jakub Stolarczyk, Ben Nelson, Hamza Choudhury, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Wanya Marcal, and Tawanda Maswanhise. Four of the six, including debutant Maswanhise joined the club at under-nine level. That now takes the total number of academy players used this season to seven, with Kasey McAteer involved as well, and itās likely to be eight before the campaign is out with Maresca a big fan of Will Alves. The number of local lads involved means itās unlikely that Cityās streak of having at least one academy player in every senior matchday squad will end soon. The run is now up to 257 games, starting more than five years ago. Will probably have another 2 in Alves & Braybrooke shortly but will show existing & future academy players that there is a path if they knuckledown. Futures bright & hopefully the facilities, coupled with the above, start to bear more fruit in enticing quality players to us...just not sure about current coaches but i'm sure this will be addressed at some point. -

Hullās front 3 caused us a lot of problems at the beginning of the season, hopefully now we are in our stride with Enzoās system in grained we should handle them better although they could also have an u known in Fabio C on loan from Liverpool. -
āWill is getting better and heās close to joining us for the entire session,ā Maresca said at the end of last week. If he comes through training well this week, he could be on the bench at Coventry. Hereās hoping š¤

The word 'Vet' in Latin must mean licence to print money. I had a similar experience recently where on a routine examination the vet advised she could hear an irregular heartbeat in my pooch & said they could set up a consultation with another branch to have it investigated, the investigation would consist of an ultrasound (the type for seeing ya unborn child) & a chat & all for just £1500. I have insurance but £1500 to put a bit of gel on her belly & do a 1 minute, at most, ultrasound check is taking the p's, especially considering i recently had an MRI scan taking 15minutes which only cost £325 privately, MRI ultrasound hmmm. We left it as she was ok & has been her normal self since but It would seem they are taking advantage of the love people have for their pets. Next occupation down is dentists but that's for a didn't post.

jeez seems my initial point has gone over posters heads, this was not a direct attack at Mowbray per se but that of the 'Managerial gig' & that they (managers) can & often be rewarded for being sacked
-
of course but my point being the 'job' of being a football manager is cushy using Mowbray as a single example in that you can be sacked from 8 positions within a 21yr period for not producing the goods yet still only have a singe season out of work in that time. + be paid handsomely each time during & after sacking
-
Being a manager must be the easiest gig in the world, Mowbray starts his 9th managerial club appointment & yet after being sacked from all the previous 8 clubs in his 21/22 yrs as a manager he has only been out of work for 1 season, unbelievable Jeff.

KDB back for Man C so they will start to pull away now & heaven help the rest once Haaland returns

They were removed for a public order offence thereās probably a few it fits under; disorderly conduct, section 4A or due to where it took place fear or provocation of violence (potential of inciting violence/riot) They are not getting locked up they were removed and will receive a caution, depending on previous & a potential banning order which is right. Not sure why some defend it by saying just ignore it? Of course itās childish but should it still come under the football ābantsā banner as it was done at a football match so itās ok? I bet the families of those involved donāt think itās bants just like the parents of that young Sunderland lad didnāt think what happened a few weeks ago didnāt. The whole culture needs to change, the feed the scousers, mocking a death, mocking players about their private livesā¦or what ever else it is. We donāt sweep racism under the carpet we shouldnāt be sweeping personal offending gestures or comments under the carpet either, where is it right to mock the death of a child (anyone) or does that fall under the guise of entertainment because itās at a football match! Iām glad they were pulled out, I hope they get the caution and banning order itās idiots like these that tarnish supporting for all and makes attending games a worrying experience due to ramifications that stupid gestures can create.

I wouldnāt say I donāt rate him, heās ok, but I donāt think we will sign him permanently nor do I think he will have a long career in English football
