Potentially. I wasn’t dissecting the goals, I was commenting on VKs part in them. His part in second goal looked poor though (regardless of whether the cross should have been stopped). It would have been an easy interception if he’d got back 10 yards deeper.

Not seen the article but I imagine the first was for not closing down the cross. I made this point to my brother a couple of weeks ago (immediately before we conceded from a cross) - we seem to let so many balls come into the box without making enough of an effort to stop them at source. The second one was annoying as he clearly saw Merino and either didn’t believe Nwaneri would find him or he was too tired to get back in position.

Do we really think a different manager gets a different result there? The players are still playing for him and it’s no surprise we’ve looked more solid since Ndidi has come back in. We just lack quality - admittedly he does need to find a way to get Facu into the team (in place of BDR would be the obvious answer).

Doing himself no favours by not making any subs. Can understand him sending them out with a rocket up them with the message “you got us in this mess, you get us out of it”. But after 5mins of no difference, you’ve got to ring the changes. Either that or he’s sending a message to Rudkin.

Just looked at our upcoming games. **** me. Off the back of that performance against spurs, to produce such an abysmal showing when we’ve got that run ahead of us. Shocker.

Ruud has to do something here. Something has to change or we’re just accepting a 2-0 loss. It’s too easy.

He’s probably about the level we’re at at the moment. Has scored goals fairly consistently the last few seasons and gives us a bit of physicality up front to hold the ball up. We’re pretty good at getting runners beyond Vardy (Bilal, Soumare, Facu) so could work well. Does show what a waste Edouard has been as he’s of a similar mould so we’re essentially replacing him without being able to shift him.

We all know how this situation ends. If he leaves us, hopefully he goes on to achieve absolutely nothing in the game.

Positives: we’re not out of it and have some decent subs on the bench Negatives: those decent subs have helped us to 7 straight losses so far

That is so uninspiring. Could understand if we were trying to play on the break but there’s zero pace going forward.

This (or a variation on this) is what we need to see. We can’t keep doing the same thing and hoping for a different outcome. As much as Ruud gets some leeway due to the lack of signings, we need to see something different. NP went to a 3 in the great escape season and it did the trick. Not saying it’ll be the same now but we can’t keep conceding 2+ goals a game and a without a solid midfield, a 2 atb pairing just gets pulled apart.

Skipp will be a key player for us next year I think. The trouble is, he’s nothing more than a squad player at prem level (someone who can come in for the last 20 mins or play the cup comps) and we didn’t need that this year (not at CM anyway).

We’re 7 games without a win, fan disgruntlement, can’t stop conceding and can’t seem to score. Yet, that’s all the analysis they do.

There’s just nothing to suggest we can do any of that. We struggle to offload players because they’re crap and on high wages and then we somehow bring in worse talent to replace them.

Don’t see how he can be blamed when he’s dealing with the squad he has (which isn’t good enough). If he set up more pragmatically to not get beaten, we’d still have at least 1 headloss moment and concede anyway. Those moaning about the subs, care to suggest some alternatives? We created more chances after the subs than before they were made.

So demoralising. Actually put in a half decent first half performance and then two lapses in concentration cost us.

More energy up front with Daka and Casey. We’ve not been able to unpick them with guile so may as well try something else
