Unless I missed something, did KDH get booked after full time, literally just for celebrating with our fans? Some of these refs in Europe are bonkers.

What's Happening On The Pitch
EverybodyDannsNow replied to [email protected]'s topic in Leicester City Forum
Must be tough for OPA going in at the deep end like that, and he does a decent job overall, but definitely needs to fine-tune some elements of his style. His questions to BR should be just that - a question. 3 or 4 seconds. No ‘because…’ and then a 20 second ramble. Keep it simple. And his use of the term ‘of course’ in every other sentence really is quite noticeable. Tough job though, and he’s only a young lad, so fair play in many ways. -
Cracking young player who seems like a really nice, mature lad too. You should be proud.

Under was on £80k a week too.

They’re missing a trick if they don’t put something like this on after games. My group of mates, like many others, will often head into town for food and drinks after the game, and the club have an opportunity now to keep us around for longer and encourage us to spend our money at the new facility instead. I’m sure that will be part of their thoughts.

Premier League 2020/21 Thread

Some rotten results for us here but important to remember that a win tomorrow takes us 7 points clear with 7 games remaining with 4 very favourable games in front of us. It’s all in our own hands. -
Will we finish in the Top 4
EverybodyDannsNow replied to King of Gipsy Lane's topic in Leicester City Forum
When Barnes was being carried off the pitch against Arsenal with his knee in a brace I would have been a firm no if asked this question. We looked absolutely knackered and that injury felt like a huge blow. But since then we’ve somehow regrouped, taken 7 points from 3 games, not suffered any more injuries, 3 key players are back with the group and Kelechi Iheanacho has suddenly morphed into a 2002 Ruud van Nistelrooy. Everything looks and feels so much better. If we can get Maddison back in the next few weeks and keep this decent run of form going, I think we’ll be absolutely fine. Partly because we’re a bloody good team with a top manager, but also because our challengers from 5th downwards (Liverpool, Spurs, Everton, West Ham) are all very average and not capable of winning 6/7 on the trot. A long way to go, but reasons to be confident. -
BR - “it’s great to have Ricardo back, he can play in a number of roles for us” Maybe a slight hint at a more advanced role on the right wing

Commentator has just said on about 3 different occasions that Gray’s goal was an equaliser and it’s 1-1. I’m completely lost. -

Coote got the decision right in the first place and the fact he’s been told to check it plants the seed in his head that it’s a mistake, when it quite clearly wasn’t. VAR is an absolute joke. -
Rodgers was quoted saying we have no fresh injury concerns. Don’t know where this has come from. https://www.lcfc.com/news/1879185/vardy-in-contention-for-aek-test-says-rodgers

Wesley Fofana: Signs For LCFC
EverybodyDannsNow replied to UpTheLeagueFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
He’s giving me the Kante vibes. Every time he’s anywhere near the ball you just feel safe because you know he’s either going to win it back or play the right pass. As others have said, Soyuncu is brilliant but still makes you a little nervous sometimes. Fofana is different gravy. -
This game has probably become more important after those two league defeats. It’s quite clear that we’re not going to have enough for top 4 this season, but we won’t be near relegation trouble either. At this point, it feels like we’re in for a bit of a nothing, mid-table season. Europa League is looking likely to be the main source of excitement for us this season. As I’ve said before, if we can grind out these next few months and get through the groups (ideally finish top) we could be entering the Round of 32 stage on 18th February 2021 with Ndidi, Ricardo, Soyuncu and Maddison all fit and firing. It could go the opposite way of course and we might be in an even worst injury situation next year (surely not?!) but it’s nice to think positive at the moment. These next few months are likely to get ugly with half the team on the sidelines but there may be light at the end of the tunnel.

Leicester City v Aston Villa(H) pre-match thread
EverybodyDannsNow replied to dayday's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’d take a point in all honesty, given the horrendous situation we’ve found ourselves in with injuries. I’m of the mindset that we just need to grind these next few months out. Let’s get to Christmas within 5-7 points of the top 4 and make sure we get out of our Europa League group and then have a big second half of the season with Ndidi, Ricardo, Maddison, Praet, Vardy, Evans and Soyuncu all fit and firing. -
Seen this link already posted but in case anyone missed it, for those thinking of paying £15 - don’t. Use this link and there will be plenty of good quality options: removed

100% this. There were so many times last season when I thought we were ‘too nice’. Putting 11 men behind the ball for 30 minutes and dragging players to the floor on a counter attack is the kind of sh*thousery you need to get points in tough games. Looks like this young squad is getting more streetwise.

There’s no doubt in my mind that a fully fit Ndidi walks straight into the team but Mendy certainly gives us something that Wilf doesn’t. Mendy has a better first touch and seems to use his low centre of gravity to hold the ball in tight situations. Losing Wilf for 3 months is a huge blow but perhaps not season defining as many thought, as long as Mendy keeps this up.
