  1. 'I'm more important than this; I don't need to remove my rubbish'. Consequence free society, Britain. Nobody is accountable for their own behavior.
  2. Hahaha that utter shit show Forest. 25 years in the lower leagues and they immediately **** over those they should most empathise with. Disgraceful. Liverpool - the people's club. Scouse not English. **** the Tories. **** every other football club in the pyramid over too. Shambles. I'm just glad we aren't there to vote as I'm not convinced our current administration would be much better, like.
  3. Took the song about shitting on the red side of the Trent too literally and now I have to be supervised around minors and animals.
  4. I do a lot of road cycling and pretty much every hedgerow and verge in the countryside has loads of filth in it. We've developed a sneering, holier-than-thou attitude to the European nations; we seem to think we're much better and our country MUCH more beautiful. Neither is true - we treat our beautiful countryside like crap and fill it up with plastic wastage, bottles of urine, empty food boxes and the like yet there are vast portions of our society who look down at the folk on the continent as somehow less cultured and refined. Nowhere is perfect, true enough, but we seem to have a real penchant for filling our areas of natural beauty with crap and garbage. And the current climate if this were challenged a smart-phone would be out and there would be the recording of a full-scale melt down.
  5. Despite all the 'we're just bloody normal lads' nonesense that they were peddling for a while - they're not. They've been bought up in the belief they're better than everyone else around them - bloody hell they're the ROYALS - and as such feel comfortable treating people however they feel. Being told you're the special one and that they're the king in the future and never being held to account. It doesn't make for empathetic and nice adults.
  6. He's been very good for extended periods this season. However - he's tired and he isn't doing enough because of that. I'd advocate to see Coady or Doyle replacing him for a bit. Not as a punitive message but to rest him up for the run in where he could make a difference. There needs to be some thought, however, about our entire back lines suitability for the premier league.
  7. Need to get Daka on. They're tired and he's quick.
  8. Get the video in here. I like watching him make a tit of himself
  9. What was he doing?
  10. Is drugs cheat fighting a politician any more or less legitimate than a youtuber fighting a near sixty old cannabis farmer? The state of the sport.
  11. Think that any interest I had in this sport is more than dead. Tyson Fury spending ten years boasting about how hard he is and only fighting Wilder combined with Jake Paul selling millions fighting court jesters and pensioners has just reduced the whole thing to a mockery. The only real entertainment is boxing over the last few years has been Anthony Joshua unravelling on microphone. I'm done.
  12. Pale Fire is searing hot genius. As is Lolita. Enduring Love is an all-time favourite. I'm (late to the party in) reading Slow Horses at the minute and I'm finding that quite good.
  13. Nor is it justified. The verb these guys do for a living is 'play'. They're non-essential in society. As in they serve absolutely NO purpose in the betterment of society, really. If we abolish football then nothing much changes. People have other sources of entertainment to turn to. Infact, people are a little bit better off financially for it. They are massively replaceable. The same cannot be said about Surgeons, Binmen, Teachers, Nurses, and loads of other roles in society. I'm not advocating for the above to be paid like footballers but just want to underline the utter uselessness of footballers in society. They don't serve any progressive function at all. Before someone comes in to point out that this is the nature of capitalism and private enterprise with supply and demand being what it is etc. I know. I know. I am aware. It is just baffling how it has come to this. That we pay people who do nothing, produce nothing, help nothing, and create nothing the riches that they get. A symptom of a broken society.
  14. Yeah it does seem like there's something afoot.
  15. This is going to be bloody, I think. We will probably be promoted. We'll lose most of playing squad, we'll be hit with a points deduction, we will get relegated and that'll be that for a decade or more. On the plus side - Chelsea in the quarters will be a good day out.
  16. They're looking for a way to make the league less competitive and justify a renewed drive for a Super League. This is where all this leads inevitably.
  17. I'm in the ****ing boozer for it. Arranged a meet before Bert told me on here (thank you) that it was red button. What's the odds of finding a pub willing to go through the hassle of getting that on. At least I won't have to watch it.
  18. A tweet in which the football culture - and UK stadia atmosphere - is eviscerated. I mean - it's hard to disagree with his summary of things.
  19. I'm Ndidi and so is my w'ife.
  20. I wondered at the time if this was an attempt to get some wages off the bill for Sensei. Was there any credence to that?
  21. What happens is 6 - 10 years of slow regression. It's ****ing hard to get out of this league and it gets harder and harder with each passing year in it. Forest did a quarter of a century nearly before being re-promoted. A lot of the crowd who are extremely unwilling to criticize the manager and set up also haven't seen us for long, long periods in the first division/championship. They think having a 'process' makes us distinct. It ****ing doesn't. We're lucky it's still in our hands right now because staying in this division this season will be every bit as bad as being relegated, if not worse.
  22. Did the same with Tielemans last season. Rewarding players with questionable attitudes. Faes. Winks. Justin . All better candidates today.
  23. We were crossing the ball with two wingers who can't cross to short forwards. Id trust Albrighton to read that properly and put low, hard balls in. Underused by Enzo.
  24. Under Ranners and Pearson the substitutes made a positive impact on the game. Enzos are making a negative impact. Cannon into midfield is diabolical. The game was crying out for Albrighton.
