  1. I really hope it’s not Potter I can see him going 5 at the back and cancelling out our best players out on the wings. For me we need a manager who’s capable of playing attacking football with 4 at the back. Really hope it’s Howe but seems less likely every hour.
  2. I really hope this is not instead of Soule.
  3. No obviously not just saying what I know the process used to be in the past for new signings so he May have been at KP for the paperwork element? Weird if so now that they have Seagrave.
  4. I know in the past they’ve completed the legal documentation at KP followed by a tour. Not sure if that’s still the case since Seagrave has been built.
  5. For me that’s why the next man has to be Eddie Howe, he plays an aggressive attacking football with a high press, he’s English, he’s good from a PR perspective and he’s young who will continue to build this relationship Gareth has built with the players.
  6. Yeah I hadn’t really realised the lack of talent we’ve got coming through at the striker position.
  7. Not sure if this is the correct thread or if needs to be in general football thread. So apologies if In the wrong thread.
  8. With the possibility of England getting a new gaffer in charge, it’s likely they’ll see us through to the 2030 World Cup which got me thinking from the knowledge we currently have of players, what would our top 5 players be in each position for that tournament. Just a bit of fun for those football geeks that are interested in the nations future generation of players coming through. I’ve based it off a 4-3-3 formation and not allowed any players over the age of 32 come 2030. Obviously I’m aware it will look completely different come that time but our future striker options are looking concerning! GK: 1)Aaron Ramsdale 2)James Trafford 3) Carl Rushworth 4)Anthony Patterson 5)James Beadle LB: 1)Tyrick Mitchell 2)Tino Livramento 3)Lewis Hall 4)Alfie Dougherty 5)Archie Brown CB: 1)Guehi 2)Branthwaite 3)Quensah 4)Colwill 5)Harwood-Bellis RB: 1)Trent Alaxender-Arnold 2)Reece James 3)Rico Lewis 4)Djed Spence 5)Brooke Norton-Cuffy CDM: 1)Declan Rice 2)Adam Wharton 3)Tyler Horton 4)Tommy Doyle 5)Archie Grey CM: 1)Jude Bellingham 2)Kobbie Mainoo 3)Curtis Jones 4)Jobe Bellingham 5)Lewis Miley CAM: 1)Phil Foden 2)Harvey Elliot 3)Morgan Gibbs-White 4)Angel Gomes 5)Emile Smith Rowe LW: 1)Anthony Gordon 2)Jadon Sancho 3)Jamie Bynoe-Gittens 4)Samuel Illing Jr 5)Jaden Philogene RW: 1)Cole Palmer 2)Bukayo Saka 3)Noni Madueke 4)Omari Hutchinson 5)Marcus Edwards ST: 1) Eddie Nketiah 2) Morgan Rogers 3)Cameron Archer 4) Liam Delap 5)Jay Stansfield
  9. My thoughts exactly. For others worried about the fee, the way I’m looking at it is £30m received for KDH and £30m spent on Soule.
  10. Works out around £49k a week in wages. Sensible.
  11. Anyone got any suggestions for fanzone type places to watch the final?
  12. It could, look at England last night with Foden and Bellingham.
  13. Do we usually find out the amount being paid to the club for main shirt sponsorship?
  14. The only way I see this formation working is if you have a deep lying forward linking up the play. From an attacking sense the wing back and wingers are surely going to end up getting in each others way?
  15. No brainier for me, on his day was one of the best ball winning midfielders. With the amount of needs this squad has, keeping him will allow for finances to be spent elsewhere.
  16. Hope that statement shuts up all the muppets trying to give him stick for leaving.
  17. As long as KDH’s sale falls under last seasons accounting period, we have made £80m on the departures of Enzo, KDH and Barnes. I would be shocked if we haven’t complied with PSR regulations based of that alone.
  18. Desperation Ric that’s why.
  19. The lad looks class but I find it strange to spend a big sum on a position that we already have Mavididi and Fatawu. Especially with huge gaps in the squad that need filling.
  20. How’s that? Have close to bare minimum knowledge on PSR.
  21. Am I right In thinking the 3 year cycle is the seasons of 22/23, 23/24 and 24/25? Just to note the 22/23 season we made a loss of £89.7m, which gives us room of around £16m for last season and this upcoming season. That’s not even including the deduction from the championship.
  22. In: Golding £5m (previous accounting year) Fatawu £14.5m Total £19.5m Out: KDH £30m (previous accounting year) Total £30m Net spend = +£11.5m will update throughout the season.
  23. Pretty sure the club publicly stated in the past they won’t involve clauses like these after the Kante transfer.
  24. Should have no effect, Alves I believe will play as a left winger in men’s football and Braybrooke is a deep lying playmaker, where as Golding is a no.10/8
