  1. In: LB - Quilindschy Hartman £20m LW/CAM - Borja Sainz £25m St - Evan Ferguson (Loan) Out: Terminate Edouard Loan. 4-2-3-1 GK - Mads RB - JJ/Ricky CB - Faes CB - Okoli/Vesty LB - Hartman CDM - Winks/Skipp CDM - Wilf RW - Buonanotte CAM - Sainz/Mavididi/Bilal LW - Sainz/Mavididi/Bilal ST - Ferguson Maybe I’ve played too much Football Manager
  2. Agreed, Winks and Coady both seem genuinely surprised when they see it, so I would imagine It’s either what you have stated or one of the lads has said it in passing comment and it’s just banter. Admittedly, poor timing. But I doubt they thought it would make mainstream media.
  3. My Personal favourite for the job would be Lee Carsley. Plenty of options out there: Carlos Corberan Ruud Van Nistelrooy Lee Carsley Rodger Schmidt David Moyes Mauricio Sarri Kjetil Knutsen Edin Terzic Niko Kovac Sergio Conceicao Urs Fischer
  4. Can someone give me a realistic list of managers we could go for in the future? Shocking.
  5. Exactly this, whilst it’s not a player like Fotis, he’s the best option of a poor bunch. We all dreamt of having him whilst he was at Celtic, so I’m happy with this based of the above points.
  6. Interestingly as well, he would likely partner ex academy player Elliot Moore at the heart of the defence.
  7. For defenders I prefer moves likes this as well. There is going to be many games where Oxford are going to be on the back foot, it will give him plenty of opportunity to develop his skills as a defender.
  8. You’ve now become a tier 1 source, congrats.
  9. He’s more of a target man correct? Something I think we need in the prem to hold the ball up and bring play further up field rather than it bouncing straight back.
  10. I would be happy with this.
  11. Gonna be another one that gets let go for nothing eventually.
  12. We definitely aren’t in worse shape from a squad perspective compared to last year. That’s just being negative for negative sake. The issue is, it doesn’t seem we have improved to the calibre the premier league requires. We have better strength in depth across the forward line whether you’re happy with the signings or not is different. KDH, Casadei, Praet and Akgun have been replaced with El Khannous, Buonanotte, Ayew and BDCR. Overall I see that as an improvement, however, could have been a lot stronger, but also we have to be mindful of the cost invested. People talk about losing Kel, he was uninterested and garbage last year. He struggled to get a game in the championship and was 4th choice. He would make no difference and if he was here still, we would still be discussing the need for a new striker.
  13. Glad it’s a loan but shock once again we are going to leave ourselves short in a position that has a problem with injuries. Happy days.
  14. See I would rather Fofana I think there’s a very good player there who just needs the right manager to unlock his capabilities.
  15. I never knew his brother was the f1 driver… learn something new everyday.
  16. He was my dream signing for us when we needed a defensive midfielder. Very good player, that you’ll sell for a profit in a few years time.
  17. If it is Jakub Kaminski I can’t wait for fans to complain about having another right footed left back
  18. Would seem odd with multiple sources saying we want a couple of attackers as well as Ayew. Bilal and Fofana on loan would be my guess. Rumours of wanting a new left back has gone quite too, which I would imagine means Thomas is staying around.
  19. Horrible over pay that. Makes Liam delap seem a odd signing as well.
  20. I have a strange feeling this might happen.
  21. I mean it’s the difference of like 500k if he sells for £50m one day… it’s barely anything, just strange to negotiate especially if we are paying more up front. All I can think of is their add on clauses were way to easily achievable.
  22. It was their terms? How could they refuse their own conditions?
  23. If a future sale of £50m happened, their terms would cost us £32m if add ons and sell on clause is all met. Our terms it would cost us £32.5m, classic Rudkin.
  24. They wanted 10% sell on as well.
  25. So they wanted €21m + €6m euros as well as 10% sell on…. We’ve offered €23m + €2m with 15% sell on…. Rudkin refuses to accept a deal without it being his negotiation!
