The fact that no one from senior management is willing to speak publicly, is not only poor in the face of on and off field turmoil over the last 18 months, it is indicative that they see the club as no different than a branch of cinemas or a restaurant group, they don’t need to communicate with us because we are just customers.

Imagine if we’d actually accepted 4 million for Iversen from Palace in the summer, except for holding out for 6. The guy cost the equivalent of 150k, it would all be profit.
-
See above but I don’t agree with strategy, trying to make the point that we’re not exactly better run.
-
I said I don’t agree with strategy but effectively they can get players out the door better than we can. I think what we can’t be doing as a fan base is preaching that we’re exceptionally better run, than either of these clubs. We’re a mess in a different way.
-
I’m not sure we are, regarding members of staff who don’t actually own the club. Yes Everton and Forest have far more contentious owners, but the leadership team of each club are actually able to deal with transfers better than we clearly are. Albeit, I’m not necessarily advocating for either team’s strategy on the whole, however we are bottom of a three team table if we’re talking about effectiveness of administrative staff.
-
Well, when we probably get promoted and Maresca understandably jumps ship, we’ll probably have a squad of players who aren’t suited to the new manager’s style. This transfer should have been about giving the manager what he wanted, which seemingly should not have been that much.
-
Nah, that’s Stefan Moore.
-
He’s a better player than Coady, certainly more useful weapons in his arsenal, for things we lack or might need more of in this division. I hope it’s only a loan because he’s a top division player, something we might need if Enzo isn’t here forever.
-
Yes, we can hope he’ll one day get another pub.
-
One year extension if Maresca stays.

Considering Maddison’s awful statement on social media last season, stating everything was fine, I’m all for this. Well done Maupay.

Alex Hylton always has a good show every year.

A year of Hermansen in the premier league and you’d be looking at least at 40 million.

Away from his grievances with our matchday fire drills, surely his agent would have warned him regarding our incompetency, considering the agency/agent is the only one we deal with. He’ll stay till the end of the season but if there’s an opportunity to go at the end of the season, he will. I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Brighton.

The desperation for a semi-competent non-biased (no King Power links) football professional to come in and help with the running of the club, is the most salient issue. What happened to Aiyawatt’s Dad was a terrible accident and clearly on more fronts than the football club, had left him with responsibilities that are clearly becoming out of his capabilities. Nonetheless, if someone who is not John Rudkin could come in and offer a fresh perspective without actually being friends with the current boss, it may alleviate and give both the football club and the chairman some much needed help. Deep down I don’t like the idea of anyone owning a football club except for the supporters but we could have worse than King Power, however they could be so much better with a few simple changes of the individuals between them, and the first team management.
-
We really are the play thing of a billionaire’s son. We have only operated effectively as a club under King Power, when Nigel Pearson was here.

Fax machine problems again.

I suppose yes but also one player we want to get rid of, the other we’d like to keep except for FFP commitments. To be honest, I’m still in shock that Praet actually played last night, so I’m not sure what our strategy is.
-
We wouldn’t have played Praet is that argument was true. KDH isn’t about wages, his sale equates to pure profit.
-
I find it incredibly uncomfortable watching our supporters walk out on 85, cringing like it’s a bad joke. The club need to acknowledge this now because it has got to the point where I believe it is detrimental to what happens onto the pitch, or at least counter productive to us potentially getting goals back or keeping a lead. That’s how important I believe the crowd was during the title season and the great escape. Of course the club won’t acknowledge it, instead they’ll keep investing in the show sec staff who occupy the space at the bottom, until they outnumber us at full time.
-
Should have played ahead of Praet simply on the basis of him actually wanting to play. Now is time for his run of games

Found two bones in my fish cake there, expensive for what it is. However, the staff and ambience are nice.

Ben Nelson signs new contract until 2027

I think he was an Enzo signing. If it had not been for his injury during pre season and the start of the season, he would have been playing in Vestergaard’s position from the start. His passing is very good in the central position(Millwall in the cup, although I’d argue Vestergaard’s is better but there is also an argument that it is the kind of role where your passing improves with every game played), he also has a similar trajectory to Vestegaard regarding career and position, gradually was moved from midfield to defence. -
You never know with Warnock!

I’m sure one of their relatives played for us?!
