  1. Hate Birmingham, pricing probably reflects this is the biggest game in their club’s history since the last time we played them in the cup (2020?).
  2. Going to Kettering game at Coalville in a week or so, is there anywhere except the ground where a decent pint prior could be got?
  3. Yes they would quite clearly be but it fuels the nonsense that they spout about ‘wokeness’ , ‘free speech’ and other culture war stuff.
  4. The M&S advert stuff by removing the advert, it sets an outrageous precedent that only strengthens the ammo of the demagogues from the Daily Mail and GB News.
  5. There might have been less of an issue for Hamza if he'd done that too.
  6. Ridiculous false equivalence. At the time of Zinchenko posting that, Israel had not started retaliating, they’d just been the victim of the most violent terrorist attack in their country’s history. I really wonder why footballers don’t just stay off social media. Hamza was unfairly targeted a few years back for tweets he’d made when he was 15, there’s nothing to be gained by having a presence on there.
  7. The only reason they’ve got rid is because Nigel was honest enough in interviews to question the ownership, they waited for a couple of bad results and he was gone. Bad results that were likely a product of an awful injury list.
  8. Seeing as though we’ve not signed anyone directly(I think) from South American since Fernando Pasquinelli(Spelling?), it’s a nice sign to see our scouting department are possibly looking in that market, albeit not forgetting failure of Aranguiz. Is he a left sided winger? -Not forgetting Laurari?
  9. The issue with the Hamza tweet is because it can lead to different interpretations, is his previous liked tweets instantly support the most extreme interpretation of the phrase. I personally think he should be reprimanded by the club and that should be the end of it. He’s apologised, fine him and move on.
  10. That’s a fair opinion but I don’t think it was an incredible amount, I’d have valued him at about 10 million then.
  11. Not exciting teams necessarily but Corberan always gets the best out of his players.
  12. To be fair to Schlupp for 15 million Palace have gotten their money worth.
  13. That’s the thing for me, bar Cov, I’ve not felt this excited for a game all season, a result of complacency, as much as this one!
  14. It could be that he views himself as a secular Muslim but yes he liked the Turkey Cafe.
  15. I think he even reduced his salary when took the role, initially.
  16. If he supported human rights, he wouldn’t have liked a post justifying October 7.
  17. He’s alluded to it. Last comment for me.
  18. Curb your Enthusiasm is the only very funny American comedy ever but that’s from a British perspective.
  19. No from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, where does that leave Israel? I’m going to stop commenting now, I really like Hamza he’s a local lad and a great ambassador for Asian football. I hope the club suitably punish him and that’s the end of it.
  20. How can he not be inciting prejudice if he’s called for the erasure of the only Jewish state in the world?
  21. I will be disappointed if he’s in the squad on Friday night, unless he’s apologised and the club have acknowledged it.
  22. Players should be allowed to post or like what they want, as long as it doesn’t justify terrorism, the erasure of a state, isn’t homophobic, racist or sexist. It’s not difficult.
  23. Last season isn’t relevant to either side!
  24. Unfortunately I can’t listen to the podcast because Jake Humphrey is on it, however I hope Drinkwater sorts himself out now he’s drawn the line in the sand regarding football. Stay off the booze Danny! My favourite player between about 2013 and 2017.
