We have Vesty, Okoli, Coady, Faes, Nelson and Souttar. We are well stocked for average CBs that will probably do a job at Championship level. ideally 3 of those will leave permanently at the end of this season.
-
A lot will come down to who we can shift at the end of the season. Mads and Bilal the two players who have quality and are saleable. Okoli, Faes, Ndiddi, Soumane - I can possibly see some interest. Vardy, Ward, Iverson out of contract (Iverson might stay but I canāt see him wanting to be a back-up keeper). So a lot of players who are clearly not the future - Vesty, Coady, Ayew, Hamza, BDR, Daka etc. there is a lot of youth coming through but a lot is unproven - you can also only really play it if we free up space in the squad. We need to get down to a squad of about 20 players.

Well recall all our loans and bring Andy King back out of retirement. 5 Incoming

2-0 defeat and foxesfalk meltdown. Result blamed on a combination of lazy players, useless players, the fans, the owner and the manager but curiously not on Everton who actually scored the goals. Danny Ward blamed for inability aim the balls where he should do during the warm up for Stolarczyk

Iād say the only CBs with potential. If we do go down those two need game time, if they arenāt playing in the championship we may as well get rid.

Literally every club in the Premier Leauge is owned by a billionaire with quite often dubious ethics or a US hedge fund, sovereign wealth fund or some such. Compared to European leagues and Barca and Real, we massively overpay in wages. Before the Premier League it was Italy with all the money. i have no time for the Saudi league but Money isnāt just a problem there

Luke Thomas - Hoffenheim interest
Finn Claw II replied to JamesfromlondonLCFC's topic in Transfer Talk
Thomas and Hamza can go without a direct replacement - no great loss -
Musa is perhaps the exception that proves the rule

Decent money for any player in our squad and Iād let them go. Bank it for the rebuild. Ayew, Vardy, the kit man and Eduoard - in that order to score the goals that keep us upā¦.
-
Heās got 2.5 years on his contract so itāll come down to who can match wages. Homegrown so assume no accounting loss. Skipp will be the defensive midfielder next year so heās at best back up even in the championship - even we wonāt play Skipp and Hamza against the likes of Oxford at home!
-
Get them all in black boots (preferably Puma Kings) short sleeves, no skins. RVN has gone all Mike Bassett

In most jobs, particularly at a high level, failure results in being moved on - itās part of taking the reward for success that you own the failures also. I understand loyalty but likely two relegations in 3 years, terrible football and a squad much weaker than it was means that one or more on the business side of the club need to go. it could be the owners, the CEO or the DoF but has to be at least one.
-
Just saw itās Ā£20m plus Ā£5m in add-ons. Rudkin is just saving us Ā£5m by buying a player that will never meet the add-ons. Itās genius really.
-
Itās a big test for RVN as this job could easily send him the way of Lampard, Gerrard Rooney etc - he may well be absolute garbage and all hype. Iām almost not bothered about this season, average team, average managers, best players injured - I want a manager who can build a side and move players that need to be moved on. Puel was the last manager who really did that. Enzoās signings were also mostly good.
-
Just checked a 5 year deal. Weāve got it all to look forward to for years and years to come.
-
On March. Day Iāll predict a 2-1 win and for about 30 mins that may look on the cards. At around 60 mins weāll go 1-0 down, Iāll think we have time to turn it around and still meet my prediction, For the next 30 mins we wont do very much but BDR and Daka will come on. Around 80 mins weāll concede a second and Iāll decide I donāt want to watch Match of the Day.
-
If we get what we paid for him then let him go. We have CBs that need shifting. in the champ, Vesty, Coady, Souttar and Nelson are good enough
-
I still think with a transfer embargo weād have a squad capable of promotion. itās also one of the reasons why we shouldnāt let Cannon go. Daka, Cannon and Ayew may well be our Championship CFs

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Finn Claw II replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He needs time and a chance to build a squad. Donāt really see any point in anyone else right now assume he has the stomach for the Championship and doesnāt consider himself an āeliteā manager. wasnāt a big fan of Enzo really but his signings and system was at least effective. -
Heās a player who has also got better out the team⦠Sell if he genuinely isnāt settling but the fact that he is in and around the Italian national team means he must have something about him or they really lack options. He needs minutes one way or another.
-
While I can understand why everyone quotes book value, you obviously want to sell for whatever is market value. I donāt think we are forced sellers now we just need a plan for who we think we can realistically sell and for what value if we go down. Personally Iād keep Cannon for next season as one of our strikers if we go down. If we stay up - sell at the end of the season.

Disgraceful Stickers Noticed at LCFC Away Games

Foxton Locks is underrated in terms of sightseeing in Leicestershire. who doesnāt love a canal that goes up a hill? Peaky Blinders missed a trick. But in terms of the original post too many young men on social media. -
Odsonne Edouard joins on loan - Official
Finn Claw II replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Abdul, Ayew, Bounanotte and Bilal are all good signings. Okoli / Golding - might turn out okay but we spent too much on potential. Skipp / BDR - havenāt improved the team and Skipp was our marquee signing. edouard - if we can send him back isnāt a disaster. Palace offered him a new contract also. -
Chilwell and KWP. With decent full backs and Ndiddi and Mads back soon, Iām hoping weād actually start to defend properly. striker on loan from a foreign league
-
I like KDH but heās not the priority. Chilwell for me if we are bringing back a player from Chelsea.
