To give a bit of context a £70m wage bill across 25 players is over £50k each. that the wage bill of a low- mid ranking team. if his wages drop in the championship (which they will do, he has shown that he is easily good enough at that level).
-
Depends on wages really
-
Looks like he is staying then.

Super Cooper. Feeling he’s our number one.

Enzo has moved on and so should we. He’s not going to waste time speaking about us and nor should we be overly bitter about him moving. i take the clubs desire to back him (I assume that means financially) as a good thing. Onwards and upwards
-
Just get it done and we all move on. If Chelsea are quibbling about £1m or so when they are putting Enzo in charge of a team worth £500m or so, then it doesn’t look great.
-
Things change - Rodgers and Enzo not the managers for him but him, JJ and Ricardo are more than capable full back options in the Prem
-
Keep us up and a lot of our problems go away. Most of our big earners will have gone and the rules will have probably changed. So spending restriction likely much lowered. We only have to finish above 3 teams

Jordon James to James Justin. It’s a commentators nightmare is that one, two, three or four players…. on that basis alone - I’m 100% in

While for me the jury is still out. He will have worked with elite players at Man City and understands how a really big club operates. He may well have a squad which is good enough to force his style on his opponents. it could all work out for him. I can see the logic in this one

Good time to go to Chelsea, Klopp goie, Pep one more season, United all over the shop. Not bothered if he went but Enzo hasn’t done enough yet to warrant big club

I read that as ‘I want to continue to be paid well, it can be here’. Club Legend

He’s gone on holiday paying for it with his goal bonus. I’m surprised he got as far as Bournemouth and isn’t in an Airb&b near Rutland Water

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Finn Claw II replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
Other sports manage it quite easily, personally I’d simply give the captain or the manager 1 VAR call a game and if it overturns a in-game decision they get another. -
Weren’t we one of those teams last year. Good chance they will be lucky again next season!
-
Let’s just go for it early and play all 18 of our home games across North and South America plus Africa and Asia. We’d be massive and we’d have a whole new set of moaners on here. It’s Win Win

Aside from staying up? I think our wage bill will be in a much better position than 2 years ago so key is signing players on reasonable wages and managing the players on our old salary structure. I still think the mentality can be a bit Rodgers-esque at times perhaps we think we are bigger than we are. So a bit of humility and Pash-un

If Sevilla can’t afford his £10m release clause presumably they can’t afford the £1bn worth of players required to make them ‘competitive’ - just like us. If he really wants to manage Soumane, then just reintegrate him into our squad…..
-
Midfield: Preat, casdei, Yunus, Albirghton, Marcal, Hamza - that’s our reserve midfield - it’s pretty good on paper at least
-
I’d snap your hand off for McKenna - back to back promotions with a limited budget players playing beyond themselves. Hirst was a big signing for them. We had the best at the very least one of the best squads in the league. Enzo had a decent budget to bring players in. Next season will show if Enzo is a good manager. With a limited budget we should still have a good shot at survival,

Hopefully Albrighton will get 15 mins

I just can’t see anyone buying Ward so he’s by default our 3rd choice keeper. Iverson, Soumane and Kristiansen I’m hoping have all done well enough in their loans to tempt someone. Daka I’d sell for a reasonable fee but he does have some use if we want to play a pressing game. Nacho will score lots of goals in a team built around him but that isn’t us. Souttar as 4th or 5th choice CB is a bit of luxury so if we can move him on then great. Wilf keep if we can given how light we are in midfield.
-
Clearly keep if we can manage wage expectations.
-
Clearly KDH and Mads being sold then…..….. …..or both can’t handle a pint or two of Tiger.
-
If cheating means signing Soumane for £17m, Preat for £15m, Daka for £23m etc etc then guilty as charged. Overspending on bad players is just bad financial management rather than cheating.
