Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
Finn Claw II replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Let’s see what happens in Jan - our summer transfer were very hit and miss. We need 2 or 3 quality players to stand a chance and no more injuries. It’s a improvement on Cooper but that’s not a high benchmark -
Just shows a lack of maturity. Particularly in public. Say what you like round each others houses but not in a bar with loads of onlookers.
-
Progress towards a more attacking side. Abdul, Ayew and Winks are good options off the bench,

Same side as we usually play. Same subs we usually make. Same saves by Mads. Same hope at some part of the game that we get a result. Same end result. -
Even for Leicester this feels negative - he’s only a couple of players away from the team I would pick and the attitude seems right but it doesn’t feel right. i’d love Cooper to go out and smash Everton and prove me wrong but I just can’t see it at the moment.

Without VAR Chilwell’s goal would have stood and we wouldn’t have won the FA Cup. i’ve changed my mind and I love VAR … -
Soumaré - Sevilla currently - They have no cash

We can’t let him leave yet. Cooper needs to be able to play his preferred midfield of: Hamza, Winks, Skipp, Wilf, Soumane. it’s the quintuple pivot. -

It wouldn’t/ shouldn’t be subjective - the opposition cant appeal again or if they did it would be pointless as the ref would look at the same evidence. I suppose my point is that I’m quite happy for very marginal decisions to go for or against us. I’d rather the game was allowed to flow and clear errors corrected. its also easy for managers to moan after the game about decisions. I’d rather they had some skin in the. game and called out the clear errors. -

So if JJ doesn’t attempt to block the ball it’s offside? VAR should be the captain give one review a game, with another review if a decision is overturned. The current system just spoils games. -
3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
Finn Claw II replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
Effort of the team is good, signings have given us decent attacking options. Set up not to lose is understandable but a 1-0 loss is still a loss. The team and specifically the team selection need to be more attack minded. Ricardo benched is probably the weirdest decision. Not sure who our best 11 actually is. -
I’ve heard it is actually Eddie Izzard we are after - a good runner so can press fr the front and Rudkin was impressed by the ‘is hard’ vibe. Stobart waiting in the wings in case the various Eddies remain steady
-
If it happens - he’s dog bob if it doesn’t happen -he’s the dogs if it happens 14 seconds after the deadline - an elite squad of XL bullies will be out to lick rudkin’s face
-
I think for young players, the most important part is that they play and play to a standard where they develop. We will have recall options so if they are not playing or the league is too easy, we can reassess in Jan. Just good to see youth loaned out rather than dross we can’t sell on a massive wedge (there is some of that also!)

Jordan Ayew Signs 2 year deal - Official
Finn Claw II replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nacho doesn’t work hard enough for a side like ours and I was a massive fan. Ayew is a different sort of player. -

Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)

Time has never stopped Foxestalk. Cooper has already got us relegated with less points than Derby… Cooper or Maresca to be sacked first is an interesting bet -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)
Finn Claw II replied to iancognito's topic in Transfer Talk
What I don’t know is how many of Ayew’s appearances last few seasons were subs. I can see him being able to replace any starter and provide a player who can help protect a lead by defending from the front / be an outlet for long balls / hold-up play. Quite indifferent whenever I saw him on MOTD but his type of role probably doesn’t make the highlights. Palace fans seem both rate his as a squad player but happy with the fee. -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)
Finn Claw II replied to iancognito's topic in Transfer Talk
He’s played in over 30 games the last 5 PL seasons. That’s for various Palace managers - he’s clearly seen as useful and seems to not get injured. High fee but he’ll do a job -
Jordan Ayew (interest confirmed by Percy)
Finn Claw II replied to iancognito's topic in Transfer Talk
I get the signing (sort of) he is another player that will put a shift in and can play across the front 3. He’ll be in ahead of BDR when playing against better teams Fee seem high but if we stay up no one will care about add on. Zaha would have been a much more exciting player. Even Schlupp would have been a welcome return if all we are allowed to do is sign ex Crystal Palace players, -
Personally I’d rather play Justin on the left and Ricardo right but fairly happy with the 3 of them getting game time. Clearly has an engine which will be important this season.
-
Fear not guys, Ward is on the bench
-
This is what I think but we could have started Mavi and pushed him up front when you bring Vardy off.
-
Ricardo on the bench!

Tottenham (H) - Mon 19 Aug 8pm - Pre-Match Thread
Finn Claw II replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
Winks to score one and set one up and hopefully cup his ears to the Spurs fans….. Or Ricardo to start, someone, possibly Maddison, to injure him (ACL) and then go on to lose 3-1. Possibly more excited about the line-up than the game and if Cooper will be in a tracksuit including trainers or not. I predict meltdown when the team is announced culminating in FoxesTalk going offline at some point due to ‘overwhelming inflood of moaning had overloaded systems - full reboot in process’ -
I predict he will equally as good if not better than KDH. Seems a solid enough signing and will hopefully help drive the team forward on the counter.
