  1. I get why you don’t want to explicitly market shared season tickets but I can’t be alone in living a few hours from Leicester with a family and plenty of competing commitments. i’d love to attend say half our games but know I won’t bother if I have to buy them at general sale prices. Personally I’d be doing all I could to encourage fans to continue to go next season. It’ll hit home when we are hovering around mid-table and the club are expecting fans to pay £40 to watch us play say Bristol City.
  2. Moderately marketable so will likely be sold. Will be low balled by Europe but probably have to suck that one up.
  3. Interesting to see if he walks at the end of the season. I suspect he will as unless Rudkin can move about 15-20 players on, we’ll have another season with most of this squad before the big rebuild. in hindsight not getting promoted and being forced to clear the squad would have been a blessing in disguise. I’d almost welcome a transfer ban at this point to stop us wasting money
  4. I agree with most of your squad. Missed Souttar at CB. just can’t see who buys BDR or Ayew. We also won’t release Faes and Vesty for free. It’s the sales that worry me outside of Mads, Ndiddi, possibly McAteer and Soumane.
  5. Not tainted by this season so that’s a massive plus. same as Nelson. lets hope we can find new homes for Faes, Vesty and Coady.
  6. Will he walk or be pushed and will it be now or once we are mathematically down. Feels destined to be Andy King at some point. i don’t blame him for quality of the squad but his record is still appalling - i think in PL played 15, 2 wins, 1 draw and 12 defeats. 0.47 points per game. If he has a vision for the rebuild then at some point he needs to demonstrate some of it.
  7. Danny Ward pulls off a string of amazing saves then goes on a sweeper-keeper salvo and smashes the ball into the top corner 1-0 win Ayew, Vardy and BDR run around ineffectually for about 70 mins or so before being hooked.
  8. Just try something different, anything really. 3 at the back 2 up front play some of the youth play a low block and counter but don’t play Danny Ward
  9. It’s top to bottom awful, Owners, CEO, DoF, Manager, players. it reminds me of the mad dog / Holloway period in terms of apathy. Micky Adam’s PL team had more about them than this team.
  10. Keep Brentford guessing. They would have assumed we’d switch it up. RVNs masterstroke is to not switch it up. Genius. When any of our front 3 fall over it could equally be a dive or an actual heart attack.
  11. Surprised he hasn’t binned it off to try and save his ‘elite’ reputation. Next season we will rightly be on the the favourites to return. While we moan our squad is poor, and it is, this is relative to the PL. even with a number of sales we should be competitive. The test for RVN will be spending wisely and improving the mentality of the team. A poor start next season and he’ll go the way of Lampard and Gerrard.
  12. We have Vesty, Okoli, Coady, Faes, Nelson and Souttar. We are well stocked for average CBs that will probably do a job at Championship level. ideally 3 of those will leave permanently at the end of this season.
  13. A lot will come down to who we can shift at the end of the season. Mads and Bilal the two players who have quality and are saleable. Okoli, Faes, Ndiddi, Soumane - I can possibly see some interest. Vardy, Ward, Iverson out of contract (Iverson might stay but I can’t see him wanting to be a back-up keeper). So a lot of players who are clearly not the future - Vesty, Coady, Ayew, Hamza, BDR, Daka etc. there is a lot of youth coming through but a lot is unproven - you can also only really play it if we free up space in the squad. We need to get down to a squad of about 20 players.
  14. Well recall all our loans and bring Andy King back out of retirement. 5 Incoming
  15. 2-0 defeat and foxesfalk meltdown. Result blamed on a combination of lazy players, useless players, the fans, the owner and the manager but curiously not on Everton who actually scored the goals. Danny Ward blamed for inability aim the balls where he should do during the warm up for Stolarczyk
  16. I’d say the only CBs with potential. If we do go down those two need game time, if they aren’t playing in the championship we may as well get rid.
  17. Literally every club in the Premier Leauge is owned by a billionaire with quite often dubious ethics or a US hedge fund, sovereign wealth fund or some such. Compared to European leagues and Barca and Real, we massively overpay in wages. Before the Premier League it was Italy with all the money. i have no time for the Saudi league but Money isn’t just a problem there
  18. Thomas and Hamza can go without a direct replacement - no great loss
  19. Musa is perhaps the exception that proves the rule
  20. Decent money for any player in our squad and I’d let them go. Bank it for the rebuild. Ayew, Vardy, the kit man and Eduoard - in that order to score the goals that keep us up….
  21. He’s got 2.5 years on his contract so it’ll come down to who can match wages. Homegrown so assume no accounting loss. Skipp will be the defensive midfielder next year so he’s at best back up even in the championship - even we won’t play Skipp and Hamza against the likes of Oxford at home!
  22. Get them all in black boots (preferably Puma Kings) short sleeves, no skins. RVN has gone all Mike Bassett
  23. In most jobs, particularly at a high level, failure results in being moved on - it’s part of taking the reward for success that you own the failures also. I understand loyalty but likely two relegations in 3 years, terrible football and a squad much weaker than it was means that one or more on the business side of the club need to go. it could be the owners, the CEO or the DoF but has to be at least one.
  24. Just saw it’s £20m plus £5m in add-ons. Rudkin is just saving us £5m by buying a player that will never meet the add-ons. It’s genius really.
  25. It’s a big test for RVN as this job could easily send him the way of Lampard, Gerrard Rooney etc - he may well be absolute garbage and all hype. I’m almost not bothered about this season, average team, average managers, best players injured - I want a manager who can build a side and move players that need to be moved on. Puel was the last manager who really did that. Enzo’s signings were also mostly good.
