There is what is in his contract and then there is also what can be negotiated between the club and RVN - the contract is the backstop. I don’t think he nor the club will want to hang around if he doesn’t have the board’s support which he doesn’t. It’s also dynamic in terms of job available for RVN and managers for us. The contract compensation will likely be based on future lost wages which in turn will be based on what division we are in. There is in then PSR in terms of timing it all. In short it’ll happen when it happens!

a good offer for anyone and we should take it. Daka and Ayew are our only strikers so you have to keep one of them. Same with JJ and Ricky P, you need at least one. We need to get rid of at least 2 from Coady, Vesty and Faes. If Coady is the easiest to shift and for some reason a club will pay for Faes then so be it. Soumane I suspect will go even if on loan to free up wages. I suspect Ndiddi will go also. Not sure about Hamza now

As much as we moan we have brought a fair few players through - McAteer probably the latest but Stolarrzk, Thomas, Hamza, KDH, Barnes are good examples. Even Monga. He either needs a good loan or him and a few of the other Nelson, Alves etc should be told that they will be given 10-15 games at the start of the season to show that they can play at this level.

Ward in for the last 10 mins for an emotional send off. Sub him off after 5 mins for Iverson when it’s confirmed how bad he remains. Get Bounanotte to warm up all game and don’t bring him on. Will we even see Eduardo again? Possibly the last game for a bunch of mediocre players Faes, Coady, Vesty, Soumane etc. Ndiddi probably does deserve coming off early so the fans so show some support. Massive game!

Does RVN get full away-end TIFO for the last game of the season? Perhaps a sea of red with a smattering of green as a nod to his win record in the PL. It’ll be interesting to see if he waves to the fans at the final whistle or any of the players that will likely go

Like with almost every player, a half decent offer and get rid. if he’s not gone I suspect he’ll be reintegrated in some form as he has proved he’s a capable player in the championship and I suspect Hamza, Soumane and N’didi will all go. Next year, He’ll be playing for a new contract even if not with us so it’s in his interest to actually play and not be a total bell.

This is a great way for us to negotiate down any fee we might receive. £5m or I’ll buy out his contract and you can have him for free. we have at least 2 possibly 3 CBs to move on Faes, Coady and one of Vesty or Souttar.

I expect almost every player that leaves us to perform better next season mostly because it’s hard to see how many could get worse. he is 22 and has 70+ games in top tier leagues plus international caps.. ii’m not concerned if he goes for around £10m as Thomas can do a job at LB next season.

He’ll still go, given where we are with the season it doesn’t make too much difference if he went now or in a few weeks. I suspect it all comes down to money.

Many players to move on before Luke. Not premiership standard but in defence I’d rather see Vesty, Faes, Coady, Kristianson, possibly Souttar gone before him.

Ayew at least is an option up top where we have no depth. BDR is just surplus to requirements and was when we signed him.

What the club want and what we get offered will depend on how many clubs want him

I think we signed him for about £21m. It’ll be interesting to see what we do if we get a £25m plus bid. Hard to turn down £30m. He’s clearly technically good enough. Abdul, him and Mavi would be pretty immense in the Championship. You then have McAteer and Alves also. Feed Ayew and he will score….

If both teams could lose, I’d chalk that down as the result. i’d be nice to see Vardy on the scoresheet.

He’s got an absolute dogs dinner of a defence in front of him. While I’ve no idea if he’ll make it a champions league club, I can see someone bidding for him. we’ll actually make some money on him which makes him one of the better signings in the last 3 or so years.

Surely any payout steps down if we are relegated. At the very least his wages as with players presumably fall once we are in the Championship so buying out his contract is reduced. if not Call RVNs bluff, if he won’t walk then set the target for next season as one of rebuild. promise him no transfer budget with decent fees accepted for any player. Only loans in. it also has the added benefit of not giving Rudkin money to waste.

All depends on compensation and how much smaller it is now we are down. As others have said some of the non-coaching staff should also do the honourable thing and walk.

Let’s hope we’ve at least learnt our lesson and have some hefty relegation wage reductions, Lots of players with one year left, I suspect we can get rid of fair few of them. Will be a fair few loans out never to be seen again
