Gerrin there, nice slick break, amazing what early forward passes can achieve

ITV have Albrighton, Sky have Morgan, I have 25 minutes to set a 2nd tele up

I still wonder whether anything happened at half time last week with Winks. He seemed very opinionated in the first half gesturing and appointing blame to anyone not called Winks. The tantrum after his own misplaced pass was embarassing, blaming others for his mistake. If there was a half time discussion maybe he overstepped the mark? To be subbed for his all round sh*teness was justifiable in itself. Avoid defeat, anlienate the anttitude problem ones and get minutes for Nelson, Page, Aluko and Evans and it will be a small step towards a forward thinking plan for the future. A defending defender Souttar in for that giraffe who thinks he’s Beckenbauer and we’ll become harder to beat.

For those who watched from the start you can go and have a shave now, you’ll need it, blokes too.

My problem is this….there will be a lot of matches, a fair few un-appealing on paper but the law of s*d says if I choose to miss it it’ll be a cracking, sizzling rollercoaster ride of a game. So I’ll watch them all in case

Yesssss get in there, back of the netttt! Group L, happy days !!!! Or will be a “Group of L”?
-
Just got in late and sat down to watch, Rio has forgotten his pen and needs to borrow one? WTF is this the World Cup draw or Grange Hill As can happen in these cases, with ahem, weak hosts, the presence of Canada as a pot 1 is going to cause a lop sided group and side of draw. At least now it’s 12 not 8 the 9th isn’t going to suffer and face a top 8

Beckford scoring a hat trick against Forest deserves a pint in the fazzyfox pint allocation system but I’ve gone for Vassell, we didn’t get the prime Villa-era version but neat, tidy, linked up with Yakubu, that team with Curtis Davies and Kyle Naughton seemed good on paper….not quite so good on grass unfortunately.

Yep, plenty of culprits but Winks for me too. -

Just watched that first Sheff Utd goal again (I’m a Masochist) and lost count of the individual errors, it’s like when you’re playing FIFA or PES and hand the controller to your three year old nephew and he just bashes random buttons. At least two players had the opportunity to swing a leg and just put the ball out for a throw, others dived in to challenges when just standing up holding up play would have bought us a moment to organise, there was hot potato time, tight passes in silly areas, awful passes and enough opportunities to nullify the threat several times over. Were we more interested in identifying it as an opportunity to break on them by playing out around them, just put it in row Z, they don’t score from there. Just shambolic panicking, yet another sign of our confidence being completely shot to bits. -
Did the Brighton player just do a Robin Hood celebration at Forest ?

Something tells me that Paqueta doesn’t entirely agree with the referees decision, something in his body language suggests that

And then there’s the sloppy passes on the break which under no pressure are played behind the team mate instead of in front of him, killing any momentum. If I do that in a friendly Friday night 5 a-side I’d get called out for it, these are pro’s and they’re repeating it week after week. A big part of it is confidence which is totally shot (spell check) at the moment but it’s a care free sloppiness and a lazy “I’ve done my bit, I’ve moved it on” attitude, think of Drinkwaters through balls in those situations, right into the stride of the player or in front of them to run on to. We just roll it, with no pace on it behind the runner who has to stop, turn, track back to it and then somehow accelerate again in 1 stride as the opponent is now on him.

Tannoy Man “Good afternoon team….and now here ‘s your Leicester City crowd line up….East stand row C seat 27 Daaaaave Smith, row F seat 73 Johnnnny Butler…..”

That thing where the ref points to his watch when their keeper receives “treatment”, I always see that as a reaction to our booing and heckling and perhaps our players calling it out for what it is. Basically pointing at the watch is saying “ don’t worry folks, it’ll be added on, calm down, I’m dealing with it.” Two problems with that, firstly it’s not just about time, it’s about breaking momentum which to be fair we had at that time. Secondly, they never do add it on, therefore the theatrical “look at me I’ve got a watch” shows he’s unaware of the motives behind the stoppage and is an added p***take when we all know damned well it won’t be added. Be crap, be dodgy but don’t bulls**t us. If you’re not going to take it seriously don’t pretend you are. Four minutes was shocking, every set piece had been milked, their sub LB had treatment as well, I don’t know how any of the officials can deliver that verdict with a straight face. Intimidated by Wilder perhaps

Injury status - He received a 2cm cut on his forehead and his brain fell out
-
That long ball to unmarked Mavididi - he gestured that we wanted movement, teed up his pass, picked the wrong golf club / angle and then tried to blame everyone else.
