  1. Up early and absolutely buzzing for the game. It feels like the biggest game since the last game of last season. I'll have a shower and select the lucky Kelechi shirt for today - I didn't wear it last week for some reason (I blame myself). I've got a ridiculously positive feeling about this one. Vardy and Kelechi to score and one from Youri in a 1 - 3 win. COYB
  2. You are clearly a football connoisseur as your team is the same as mine. This is the best team we currently have at our disposal and which is on form. COYB.
  3. It looks as though Antonio may be out for the rest of the season. Nervous about this one already - We need to dominate the ball and keep the back door closed this time.
  4. The team for me picks itself. Kasper Castagne Fofana Evans Ricardo Ndidi Tielemans Praet Maddison Vardy Nacho
  5. I know too. We'd been so starved any success that it was a tremendously expectant away following. The elements were truly awful but the sheer exuberance and size of our support was incredible to be part of.
  6. Hardly a thermos flask in sight. I was on the p*ss in the Foresters Arm on the front for hours before the game - they closed it at about 1 o'clock which meant that a load of locals couldn't get in which didn't go down too well. I remember 2 late goals, Walshy putting the defender in the back of the net with the ball and then trying to scale the fence. Our support was Great back then.
  7. What a man - Clearly a legend off the pitch as well. Him and Lennon were an absolute joy to watch in the late 90's. Savage ran round a lot but to me he wasn't in their league as a player Without him we wouldn't have been close to promotion in 2002 / 2003 - In fact we were a mid table team without him.
  8. Swindon 4 - Leicester 3 - Play Off Final - Great comeback and was still really proud although I felt utterly cheated with the ridiculous penalty given - The atmosphere when Thommo scored the 3rd and when Oldfield nearly went through 5 minutes later was incredible Cardiff Play off - 2010 - Play Off Semi Final - Probably the best pound for pound away support I've been part of (that and Bruges) - The match was so exhilarating that even after we'd lost I was still a bit high Athletic Madrid - 2 - 1 - 1997 - Another incredible atmosphere - That generation of support hadn't really had any success so to be bumping into friends on a Madrid street before a UEFA Cup match was surreal - I also thought we'd beat them in the return game Erm struggling as all other have been gut wrenching - I was even gutted with the 1 - 4 vs Brighton as I'd bought tickets to take the kids who were young at the time and we were carp.
  9. Seville Home 2019 - 2 - 0 - A very Special night - So proud of the players and our crowd Shrewsbury Home FA Cup Quarter Final 1982 - 5 - 2 - An incredibly dramatic game. I was in Pen 3 and the emotion was overwhelming at times Man U Home - 2014 - 5 - 3 - The day I realised Jamie Vardy was incredibly special Manchester City Away 2016 - 1 - 3 - Couldn't believe what I was seeing before my very eyes Sunderland Away 2016 0 - 2 (the day we actually (respectively) won the Premier League - When Vardy put the 2nd away I got the strangest feeling at the time - Almost overcome with emotion) and I've got to throw in a 6th of Crystal Palace Away in 2016 - Simple eurphoria after they hit the bar in the 94th minute and then the final whistle being blown
  10. What a guy! If there are any statues flying around we need one of Wes - LEGEND
  11. Looking at the Blue Moon Forum a couple of things stand out * A lot of them seem to really hate us? Not sure if that's historical or due to the 2 - 5 - They seem to think we were diving rather than their own players diving in? * They are supremely confident - Around 72% thing they'll win which is reasonable in view of the run they've been on * A number of posters believe we are the 2nd best team in the league after them It appears as though they are playing Dortmund on the Tuesday after our game so they are concerned about injuries from the International break and that the Dortmund game is the priority
  12. My first season as a 6 year old - Set me up for life it did - Everything in football and in life following that seasons been a bonus.
  13. Good on you. You absolutely deserve to relish in the success of your / our team. I've always been Leicester through and through even when at school when everyone supported Liverpool and when working in Nottingham, Birmingham and London over the years so I know what it takes to puff your chest out and say I support Leicester when we've been absolutely carp at times over the years.
  14. I thought some of Ricardo's performances last season were getting very close to World Class
  15. If I were there today my heart would be coming through my chest. COYB!!!!!
  16. If they're not inspired by Brendan's words then they can't be inspired full stop. I'm expecting us to lift off the previous inferiority complex where these are concerned (helped by the earlier 2-2 this season) and absolutely take it to them. I'm going to whisper it but I'm expecting us to win by 2 clear goals - 3 - 1 Leicester today (and I've not started drinking just yet). COYB
  17. That and the mini riot after the game.
  18. Up early and buzzing. Shower and I'll put on the lucky Kelechi shirt today. COYB
  19. Surely Wallington in goal. He’s not bald, he’s not bald, he’s not bald. Points to growing monk bald patch. Still my all time favourite player for us.
  20. My crazy kop corner days were at Filbo. Loved it in there stood on my seat singing for the full 90. That’s the great thing with my new innovative proposal - I’d be back next to the away fans
  21. Don’t worry I’ve put my name in the hat and have this idea of moving some of the stands around. Now bear with me on this but how about moving the family stand with the west stand and then the west stand with the kop?
  22. Yes I saw that as well. Just because we think he’s a fouling, diving, cheating cretin does not mean we seek hospitalisation on the lad. An injury taking him out for the rest of the season will do.
  23. He’s a real thoroughbred. An absolutely beautiful footballer to watch. Get him on a new deal ASAP
