Top probably confusing him with Mason

Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")

Would depend on who comes in. Kasey is a great presser so would fit well into Rohls set up. If he stayed I’d be tempted to play Bilal there with Monga/Ayew as the 10. -

£20m+ and we should consider it. Similar money to what high performing championship wingers have gone for -
I actually think that if a new manager came in 1st July and had a game on the 5th he would learn more in those 5 days than 2 weeks of fitness and training sessions. Regardless of the manager situation players will still be back in within the next 10 days or so and have their fitness assessed.

I have two thoughts on this: 1 - let all ruuds team go so he gets fed up and resigns 2 - recoup enough compensation for back room staff to pay off sacking him

Article says Ndidi is 38 👀

I’d like to think we would try to shift players in order of their squad status. If it meant selling any deadwood along with Jakob, Hamza, Ricardo and Ndidi instead of Mads and Bilal it would benefit us in the long run. A spine of Mads, Nelson, Bilal and a new CM/ST would have us set for years.

Regardless of what happened with injuries and lack of investment in January, RVN hasn’t shown anything to suggest he is tactically flexible. We stuck with the same system and largely the same players for months without looking like scoring let alone winning. The fact he couldn’t see that the players didn’t suit the system or style of play is very worrying.

Hasn’t he got one year left with us? Surely a £50k per week 3yr contract now is better than letting his year run down with us with the risk of then no-one coming in for him?
-
Another dodgy Forest deal on the way…. Matt Turner for €8m to Lyon following season long loan with just one appearance at Palace….. The authorities need to look at this group deals. It’s essentially money laundering
-
Instead of the free transfer market I would focus on loans. If the rules haven’t changed we can have 4. Add to that the players coming back from loan and 2/3 promoted from the development squad, that’s about 10 coming in without spending anything. Lower risk than getting permanent signings on big wages and could land some gems looking for a breakthrough

Being a bit slow for news, I had a trawl through old topics.

That’s the best thing I’ve read on here in months -
I appreciate you may not be able to share the full details but can you confirm if your intel is stored on an SD card of if we might need to see a DR when the news comes out? 👀👀

Any potential move may depend on managerial appointments and player sales elsewhere. Frank might come in for him if he goes to Spurs, Ederson and onana could leave the Manc clubs and there’s always the chance Enzo comes in for him. Lots could happen between now and the end of August. It shouldn’t affect our plans anyway really. We need another keeper with Ward/Iversen going, that keeper will be third choice if Mads stays and 2nd if he doesn’t.

We could possible entice Juande Ramos or Martin Jol but reckon Big Ange is out of our reach
-
I thought it was about £12m plus addons which I very much doubt we’ve met any of

The problem this season is that our midfield has no organisation. Neither of the two (or three under cooper) knew whether to sit in front of back 4, be box to box or more attack minded. Our shape was horrendous as a result which lead to midfield being pointless. In hindsight I think that a 3 of Ndidi and Winks sitting with Soumare free to carry the ball and have less defensive responsibilities would have been more effective
-
The only way I would entertain it is if we can shift BDCR and Ox is on a lower wage and is injury free. Lots of ifs and very doubtful that all 3 would happen. I imagine we are being used to drum up interest as per.
-
Yeah spent a few years there, think that’s the best job he’d get
-
The majority wanted BR out after the spurs/Brighton shambles. If we had made the decision then who knows where we would be now - massive sliding doors moment
-
I think he’ll be a very good championship player. He didn’t get a decent run in the side or a full pre-season. He may surprise a few next season.
-
I reckon Gary O’Neil will get the boro job
-
Can’t we just place on gardening leave and then use the next month getting ready without him?
-
If he was happy to stay and we could afford to keep him I think he would be a good option off the bench. Whilst he may not have the legs, he does have a good football brain and I think he would bring some calm onto the pitch if we needed it. If I had the choice, I’d keep him over Daka.

Maybe we’re going to Rohl the Dyche….. I’ll get my coat
