Oh my god... How did we get away with thay
-
We've started well
-
Monga is bloody X factor. What a boy
-
Oooooof nearly Bobby!
-
Unlucky Daka that was close!
-
Fair play to him sticking Ayew and Soumare on the bench. Neither of them been good enough. Be interesting to see how we get on without them. Ricardo and Mavididi can be the game changers off the bench hopefully

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Haywood_6 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Jordan Ayew was a dreadful signing, no two ways about it. You look at how smart the promoted sides have been in the market in the PL this season and then compare it to our shambles of recruitment last summer and there's no comparison. We never had a chance. Until Ayew and Daka leave it just feels like they’re draining the life out of watching us play -
I think Cifuentes is a very likeable character and has definitely got the players putting the effort in which is good to see. There are some positives. But overall disappointed that our team more or less exactly the same from last year but I get that’s mainly down to the financial situation and ownership issues. We’re not looking like automatic contenders I don't think. We don't carry enough of a goal threat. Excited about watching more of James, Ramsey, Fatawu, Monga, and Ricardo. Beyond them let's be honest it's same old squad. Performance wise our level is probably about the same as last year, only we’re now playing against much weaker opposition. And looking at some of our youngsters Aluko, Nelson, Page it feels like they’ll struggle to even get a place in the squad now which is also a shame

Absolutely brilliant that from Brentford. Sharp, crisp, football with ruthless finish at the end of it

LCFC v Cov - Post Match Thread

Draw was probably fair, pretty flat game overall. Two teams which cancelled each other out. Mavididi had the best chance but made a mess of it, looks completely shot of confidence. Carranza had some nice touches when he came on. Hopefully replaces Ayew soon as he was absolutely garbage. We're going to need to be a lot more clinical if we want to go up -
Shaky first half and silly tackle from Ramsey. But good changes from Marti to rescue a point. Class from Ricardo once again. We look so much better when he's playing

What an awful half of football
-
Is that a 3 match ban?
-
Red is harsh. It's definitely a yellow. Ref has been influenced by the Oxford players crowding around him
-
We look absolutely shite so far. It has to be said
-
That came out of nowhere

I think Monga will be our super sub this season and Cifuentes knows this. Perfect for coming on 20-30 mins of games at the moment against tired legs. Hell rack up goals/assists that way and it also protects him. Just need Stephy to find some form -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Maybe because we've recognised we need togetherness. It rarely works out well holding on to players looking for an exit -

At least it’s abroad and not the Prem so it stings a bit less. We need 2 or 3 in striker and a centre mid minimum. -
He's brilliant and experienced beyond his years. Technical ability and strong physical presence who will win the ball back too. Exciting one if it happens
-
Scandalous decisions against Fulham and shame for Josh King. It makes me not miss the PL. Not the first time and won't be the last but this game has been massively over officiated and picked apart under a microscope

NEW NAME!

Not the most free flowing football but disciplined and hard to beat. Decent start for Cifuentes. It will be an interesting last few days of the window
-
Back him. He deserves it
