Midnight mass is one of the favourite things I’ve watched, I thought it was absolutely excellent and by far the best thing Flanagan has done. dark tower is sci fi but it has a lot of horror elements, it’s quite genre bending and could easily be made to be horror (large segments of it are outright terrifying).

I mean they can’t possibly do any worse can they.

Let’s be honest though, I absolutely agree the club is being massively mismanaged but if a multi billionaire wants to lose hundreds of millions of quid trying to get a football club established, no matter how misguided they are, they should be allowed to. As long as they can guarantee the future security of the club. The rules are a joke and it’s largely why I have fell out of love with football. Man City and Chelsea can spend literally billions but little old forest or Leicester spend a few hundred million and over pay on wages and they are hit with points deductions. Honestly at this point I think the only thing that will reignite my passion for football is letting all the big wigs sod off to their super league and letting proper clubs compete for domestic honours. At this point it’s probably too far gone though, the sport washing from Saudi is also a huge issue to me, it’s affecting my enjoyment of F1 and boxing as well, basically top level sport has become an absolute joke.

It’s crazy I’ll be 37 soon and the mid 90s, oasis v blur, live and kicking and all that seems like it was 10-12 years ago.

I can’t help but think all this talk of ‘the tories are going to be all but wiped out’ at the next election are massively premature. Where I work now in the public sector everyone is already talking about what might change/what to be prepared for with the new incoming government. I’ll just believe it when I see it, they always poll worse than the reality, because people never vote Tory do they, yet they keep winning elections.

Been out for a while, that has. I enjoyed it very much. Can’t wait for him to do the dark tower (if it ever actually comes to pass).

We did our bit today. Win 5 or 6 of the last 7 I’m sure we’ll be fine. Not watched all our games lately by any means but know if we keep playing like we did today we will be absolutely fine. Fingers crossed.

Drove down south and back over the weekend, the roads are just an absolute disgrace it’s literally like being in a third world country. And what gets me is the cobblestone that’s underneath many of these roads is absolutely fine. It’s like they use 80% sand and 20% tarmac, even all the A roads are absolutely buggered, it’s a joke, and with all the councils going bust it will only get worse.

Little rant, I’ve genuinely fell out of love with football, I’ve watched motd once this year and I think 2 live games on the telly in the prem. I just think var has ruined it, the greed at the top also, I just don’t enjoy it anymore. I can’t be the only one, sorry state of affairs.

Shame she’s an absolutely hideous human being. Get it with Sydney sweeney as well she does have a bit of a weird luck and there’s absolutely no doubt women who are busty get more opportunities in life I’m sure there’s science out there that backs that up. Saying that I’ve literally never seen a single thing she’s in so can’t speak of her acting abilities or lack thereof.

So I’ve decided on this, and thanks all for the advice, I’m going to switch banks to Santander and go on their high interest savings account (7% with a £3 monthly fee to use, which brings the interest to about 6%), switching nets me £185 straight off the bat, and putting 250-300 a month in their savings will net me about 250 over the year (minus the £36 for having the account), and after the year (after the ‘offer’ expires) I will switch banks again to the best offer available and take my accrued £3.9kish and put it in the best interest account going at the time, whether it be locked for 12-18 months or otherwise and continue to put in a similar amount. also I’m going to put 100 a month into a s&s isa and see what happens with that in terms of interest over a 12 month period and see what to do with that after a year. I want to have 2 pots of money, a relatively smaller pot that I can access for emergencies and such, and 1 pot that is guaranteed steady growth that isn’t to e touched. anyone anything to advise on this way of going about it? Am i missing something massive I should be aware of or making a big mistake in anyone’s opinion?

What are the odds (probably a difficult one I know) that say over a year, my what would be 3-4k investment would make less than 5%, and is it possible to actually lose money with a stocks and shares isa? Can’t seem to find any info on that, I would assume not and if you’re unlucky you’d just make a few %?

Absolutely it is a little known jewel right near me and incredible value for money. But these places do exist. You can get a really nice meal out at lots of places for only a smidgen more than a ‘meal’ from a dreadful take away place like McDonald’s.

So can the stocks and share isa go down? If so how common is that?

Same with all fast food joints now, I don’t get why anyone would eat such disgusting stuff and get fleeced in the process. There is a top notch restaurant in my area that you can comfortably get a main at for 10-13 and when I say it’s nice I mean it is absolutely stunning. I’ve not got a maccies for years. I liked whoppers but they’re like a tenner now. No chance. This is profiteering based on brand recognition and it’s working.
