  1. Your point being..... I think you will find plenty of cars parked in both Braunstone & Bitteswell without a problem.
  2. Butlins for the forseeable
  3. Chelsea 2 Tottenham 2 2016
  4. A persons intellect has nothing to do with a desire for procreation.
  5. Hitch it
  6. This should be the one game of the season that doesn't get moved so fans can make concrete plans in advance. Plus, bank Holiday weekend, it would be nice if we could arrange things in advance, just this once.
  7. Brian Glover, great actor, notable for many comedy & straight roles notably Porridge & Whatever happened to the Likely Lads
  8. You reap what you sow
  9. "I Read a book once, green it was" Rep point for the first to answer which tv comedy this line is from.
  10. I'm being selfish, I know, but I want to plan my Bank Holiday weekend & while not wanting to miss the game I would ideally like to book hotel/B&B for the Sunday night but cant as yet as have no confirmation of when the game will be played.
  11. Club website states, Please note this fixture date, time & on sale dates are subject to change (Broadcast picks due 29th April) I had assumed all games on the final day kicked off at the same time Does anyone know have they got it wrong or have things changed without announcement?
  12. Usually a Vauxhall Nova, a caravan, a holiday in Torremolinos or a speed boat.
  13. Hush Puppies are cool
  14. The other being Frank Worthington?
  15. There's even a book about it
  16. Alfred Lentons at the top of High St. has closed after 51 years of trading. Only ever went in a couple of times. Not many people went in at all but the shop continued through somehow selling books, rail memorabilia, meccano, & any manner of bits & bobs. The last example of a Leicester shop from a different time to disappear.
  17. When he writes about the squalid conditions in the kitchens of top Paris hotels, the filth, the rats, the cockroches. Reminds me of when I worked at Butlins.
  18. Plays the mental health card then refuses a 147 because the prize is ONLY £10,000, poor f'cker. He could have done a 147 then given the 10 grand to a mental health charity
  19. A sad loss for me when the Tudor closed its doors for the last time in 2017, I was a regular for over 20 years. Great corner local pub full of characters & free flowing chat. Pool, darts, skittles, jukebox in the bar & more chilled in the lounge, decent beer & welcoming to non regulars, this type of pub is close to extinction. Happy memories of a cracking boozer.
  20. The goat & tricycle, hidden away near to the town centre. Not a football pub as such but welcoming with good selection of Beers & Ciders
  21. I'm going to change. This is the last of that sort of thing. Now I'm cleaning up and I'm moving on, going straight and choosing life. I'm looking forward to it already. I'm gonna be just like you. The job, the family, the ****ing big television. The washing machine, the car, the compact disc and electric tin opener, good health, low cholesterol, dental insurance, mortgage, starter home, leisure wear, luggage, three piece suite, DIY, game shows, junk food, children, walks in the park, nine to five, good at golf, washing the car, choice of sweaters, family Christmas, indexed pension, tax exemption, clearing gutters, getting by, looking ahead, the day you die.
  22. A long time ago cheap seaside b&b's used to have these. 'Colour TV in all rooms' If you accidently held the TV upside down 50p coins would often fall out.
  23. To those that don't like sitting in traffic, "Get on your bike" That way you can weave in & out of lanes, cycle on the path & jump every red light thus making your journey home much quicker.
  24. There's more than ever of the meat vending shady's
  25. The irony in the attached article is the piece was published just a few days after the Seville home game which was a tremendous atmosphere.
