Just a personal opinion as someone who is partial to a few pints on matchday, I enjoy my matchday routine of a few beers before the game & a few after. The 3 hour period between (3.00K.O.) half two-ish & half five-ish is a welcome alcohol free period. This means I can avoid paying over inflated prices for crap beer in a plaggy cup & enjoy pub prices (dear, but not as dear) & a decent brew.
Sad loss to the City of Leicester. A pub that oozes history, classic example of what happens when the big brewers take control.

He will play for 'The Galactico's'
Marc's mates in Tamworth play for 'The Galactico's' in local league. He has said this will be his final club. Probably not for a year or too yet though.
Went to Lens for the Colombia game 98 World Cup.
About the size of Harborough but less pubs, decent stadium but other than that not a lot of stuff of interest.
If anyones planning a trip, kip over in Lille (half hour on the train), more to see & do.
I went Shrewsbury a few times in the 80's, all draws, all great days out.
Went to the town again, non football related, a couple of years ago & it has hardly changed.
Top pre season away trip.
