Albrighton has said previously that when his career is finished he will sign for the "Galactico's" The "Galactico's" being a Sunday team in Tamworth consisting of most of his mates from when he was a youngster.

To keep climbing up to row JJ after a few pints without stopping for a rest.

Home to Notts County, FA Cup 1983, Paul Brown, a brummie, made his only Leicester appearance replacing the injured ( second broken leg) Tommy Williams in a 3-2 defeat. Paul had a nightmare of a game & confidence shot, drifted into non league football.
-
Home to Villa, 1970, Reserve team prolific striker & local lad Graham Brown (no relation to Ally) came on as sub for John Sjoberg in his only appearance for Leicester before a long non league career.
-
Home to Wrexham, 1978, reserve team youngster Kevin Reed was waiting outside the stadium for his brother, the pair of them were due to watch the fixture. News filtered through that Larry May's car had broken down on the M69 & sub Peter Welsh was drafted into the team as his replacement. Trouble was, they needed a new sub, pronto. Step forward Kevin Reed who managed to get on for the injured Trevor Christie & with minutes to go his only ever Leicester City shot hit the bar! Kevin never played for Leicester City again & became a driving instructor.

Pre-season friendlies, what do you want?
boots60 replied to guest123's topic in Leicester City Forum
If the decision is up to Enzo a couple of games in Italy would be good. If its up to the powers that be at the club then expect a return trip to Thailand during the monsoon season. Up to me, a nice trip to Scotland or Ireland would suit. -
Is the £25 charge a sneaky way of making extra money or does the club want to stop the (alleged) resale of season tickets? When I cannot make a game, I pass my season ticket to family or friends at no cost. I imagine this is the case for the majority of ST holders. I inevitably, will end up paying the £25 to keep using the card but with each passing season I am becoming more disgruntled with the attitude of the faceless few who run our club.

"We're the left side" Probably the most moronic chant ever sung

Leicester Mercury/ Leicestershire Live

No need to pay. There's more information on local news/events on Foxestalk & Bentleys Roof than the Mercury. -
So the BBC give Stringer the heave-ho for something & nothing. They've changed somewhat from Saville's days.

OK, Ill go first, I thought Enzo was "The Messiah" & don't mind admitting I got it totally wrong. I want to be entertained for my £500 a season & its not happening, our results are largely going against us & this is the most frustrating Leicester side I have ever known, Not the worst side, obviously, but at present overwhelmingly under performing & dull to watch. I briefly enjoyed "Enzoball" but have had enough & the rest of this season is not something I am looking forward to. Anyone else admit they were wrong?

Can I be the first to say, "Ticket wanted for 2058 CL Final" I'll be 98, so shouldn't be too expensive.

Fancy a cruz but I'll pass on the chaser.

His description of a first encounter of an English B&B & its lengthy list of rules & regulations at Mrs Smegma's in Dover is literary comedy genius.

Oh for the days of Admiral, when the price of the shirt didn't matter, cause everybody knew someone who's Mum worked there & they could be bought for next to nothing!

A few short months ago, anyone that posted any criticism of Enzo's tactics were met with a barrage of abuse, generally suggesting the critic was a bit 'dense' & didn't understand the modern way of playing football, conveniently forgetting the tactics that enabled us to win the Premier league. Now, a few short months later & less than 24 hours after a 1-0 away defeat (albeit a very poor performance) we are 21 pages into a 'Sack him' thread. Who says football fans are fickle?
