Whilst Braunie gate is nowhere as good as it used to be there's still some decent boozers. Black Horse is a marmite pub, me , I've always liked it. The Heavy metal place is decent & gives an alternative rocky vibe. Dog House across the road, cheap & cheerful, bit tatty but is now more of a locals bar. Shame about the 'incidents' that's given the gate a bad name but I suppose that's just life today.

What is currently being proposed at Valencia & Celta Vigo is, unfortunately, the future. Both clubs being used as guinea pigs for "Dynamic" pricing which effectively means far higher prices for the premium games like Real & Barcelona. This will soon transfer to the premier league (& possibly others) so the high days & holidays brigade can pay extortionate prices to see games involving the "Big" clubs.

1994. 150 turned up at the Charlotte paying an extortionate £4 to see an only slightly famous, up & at you Manc band. That's the time of see Oasis.

I would have thought Villa fans will be more than happy with these away trips. Could have been far more difficult ties & Bern, Monaco & Bruges all fantastic places to visit though don't know too much about Leipzig.

Whan Oasis were together the music the fans who attended were all Oasis fans. Unfortunately we have now entered an era where whenever a noteworthy gig/tour is announced the whole fvcking country (& beyond) jumps on the "gotta get a ticket" bandwagon, the result being a large part of the audience are there for the "experience" as opposed to wanting to see a once great band put on a show (for financial or other reasons).

Going through Evington the other day, I managed to re-furnish most of my house. Picked up 2 mattresses, a sofa, a fridge freezer, a TV in need of slight attention & some pieces of timber ideal for making shelves. Who needs Ikea?

The latest & final novel in the 'Crime' trilogy. brutal & bloody even by Irvine Welch's standards.

A rags to (embezzled) riches story of an Italian village team who progressed from local leagues to reach the dizzy heights of Serie B in the 1990's. Joy, disappointment, the mafia, tragedy & intrigue all an integral part of the tale.

Great read, describing the HUGE differences in Football, society, attitudes & lifestyle in the past century. A must read book for Football historians.

I have the pennant given to Leicester City by Atletico Madrid for the 1961 -62 European cup winners cup home tie. Bought from Saddington car boot for £5 about 20 years ago. Bit tatty with age but still my favourite & only significant piece of memorabilia.

By "season ticket holders age demograohic" do you mean "loyal supporters over a number of years"?
