  1. He has definitely got them going. He was exactly what was needed. Listening to Huth on radio 5 he spoke about his disciplined approach - something that had been lacking with more recent Watford head coaches?
  2. What do we think the reason for there being so many tickets left? I know for me and my boys, it is the associated costs we would rack up in travelling from Suffolk potentially 3 times in a week. I can't justify it.
  3. Why? He was brilliant for us, a legend. But we have moved on.
  4. Insanely comfortable win. Another masterstroke in squad rotation
  5. Scenes
  6. Outstanding today. The boy has a big future.
  7. Superb today in everything he did. Got to start next match
  8. Let's be honest before kick off we were pretty convinced that the tea lady had picked the team
  9. He is definitely a confidence player. At the moment his confidence is completely shot.
  10. Never in doubt. #brendaknowsbest
  11. This team is what happens when you click on I'm feeling lucky on Google.......
  12. As usual, complete FT meltdown after defeat. Honestly we've never had it so good. Get a a grip. We are second in the league at Christmas with a team brimming with young, hungry and talented players.
  13. I like, many others, have been very critical of Gray. But has to be said I have definitely seen some very slight green shoots of improvement. Maybe, just maybe he will finally take the opportunity to fulfill his potential. However, I think his main value is (and will remain) as an impact player. He just isn't the same player when he starts.
  14. I honestly don't expect any incoming players. But certainly agree that we probably need to over the next two windows; 1 CB A wide forward (preferably someone who can also up front) A striker
  15. I think we need to be putting out a pretty strong side - love to make some real progress in the cups this season!
  16. Thought he looked very good yesterday when he came on. Made a couple of very good interceptions and looked pretty mobile. Promising.
  17. He had a much better game yesterday. Feeling much more confident he's going to make it here. Definitely gave us a greater balance to the side.
  18. I agree with those suggesting that this is probably safe, with Pep's usual 'tinkering' with his line-ups, I don't see it happening.
  19. Sent my eldest down to get some drinks at half time he came back dismayed by the lack of burgers now on the menu - is he right? He was also greatly upset by the veggie pies and chicken and lemon wraps (again - I am going by his word.........)
  20. Thought it was much better yesterday than it had been for some time. I think our collective disdain for the opposition added the necessary 'spice' to get us going (not to mention the effect VAR had on the game......)
  21. It will be a very different affair to yesterday. They won't come to us with the intention of 'playing' - more likely to set up to stop us. But, if we play like we did yesterday, they won't be able to live with us........(might be forced to eat my words here..........)
  22. I have been very impressed so far this season - he is definitely much more hard working than last season (tackling back/closing down/high press). Definitely a better player - more experience of the Premiership or mor evidence of the much improved coaching? Probably both.
  23. Very surprised by how very poor Kane was yesterday. On the Fighting Cock there are some saying the same - questioning his commitment and influence. But then Cags and Evans dealt with him and Son right from the off......
  24. How could there be no reference to Cags or Evans in their summary? Both completely outstanding.
