  1. This has been brilliant TV for me. Glad we lost the first couple, but after that, wow. Just loved everywhere they went and what a finish.

  7. Yes. It's brilliant TV. Really good, quirky characters.
  8. I can back up what Blackboots said. Great place to chill out, lovely beach, places to eat etc. It'd also on a bus route for a visit to Corfu Town too.
  9. I really enjoyed Atypical too. I live how they handle the subject matter with humour.
  10. One of my old neighbours had one that was loud and annoying. For some unknown reason though it would often fall down or snap

  18. We flew out to Kalamata, Greece, on one of the last flights on 22 Sept. We didn't think it would go due to all the speculation beforehand and made it by the skin of out teeth. We were flight only. We returned on Sunday on the last repatriation flight out of Kalamata - which the pilot confirmed was THE last repatriation flight! It was less than half full. We had to return to Manchester, rather than Birmingham, so twice the taxi fare, but no complaints. Interestingly, the plane had TC livery, but was owned by a Lithuanian company, who employed the pilots too, so was not affected by TC's collapse - other than having to find other carriers to do work for and a new paint job. Unfortunately, the cabin crew were TC employees and so were very emotional. The sympathy and appreciation from the passengers was amazing.
  19. Hi Mint. Sorry for the delay in responding but had a quick turnaround before our next trip. We stayed just outside of Ajaccio - where the airport is. Ajaccio is the capital of the south and the old town where we stayed had typical narrow streets that you find in the Med, close to the cathedral and Napoleon's house (he was born there but wasn't there for long). There are lots of bars and places to eat along the front. Food prices were ok and the food was good. Drinks were good, paying more for wine and beer was about 8 euros a pint, but the local beer was good and the micro pub beer v good. The local beech was ok, but you can walk to others too if you don't mind walking or you can get the bus all along the coast. All these beaches were v good and were either quiet or busier with lots of facilities. The bus terminates at Parata, where there is a the first of the watch towers and a visitors center. You can walk all around the coast here and take a boat trip around the Sanguinaires islands, each with watch towers too and local wildlife. You can watch the sun go down from the only bar/eatery in Parata. There are also boats trips here from Ajaccio to the islands - we took the late one to watch the sunset, which included lots of free wine and charcuteries. Prices were reasonable. We took a train trip to the town of Corte up in the mountains in the center of the island. Well worth the price just for the single track journey through the mountains and countryside, over narrow bridges and through lots of tunnels through the mountains. Great views. Corte is worth a visit for it's history and old town. Corica is smaller than it's neighbour Sardinia, but it takes much longer to get around due to the mountains, single track railway and the bus service. We limited ourselves to the south as we were there for just a week, so next time we'll drive and stay over in different parts of the island. Hope that helps but pm me if you need more info. Cheers
  20. Me too, plus the The Victoria Ground, Burden Park, The Manor Ground, Elm Park, Millmore and the Goldstone Ground. Those were the days!
  21. Just skimmed most of this, but seems to be going off the original question. Can someone clarify please? Are we talking: current 92? any team previously in the 92? friendlies? grounds - ie can count twice if been to old and new grounds? non-league? foreign grounds? For the record, I've been to 67 of the current 92.
  22. Ben & Bill?
  23. A man was sent to prison for the first time and was terrified about all the things he'd heard about what men do to men during the long, dark nights in lock up. A guard escorted him down the corridor to his cell and all the time he was hoping his cellmate would be as near to normal as could be possible. The guard stopped suddenly and said (with an evil smile on his face) "Here you are - you're in here" and chuckled to himself as he locked the door and walked off. The cell was very dimly lit and it was hard to see who was in there with him, as a shadow was cast over the bottom bunk, where his cellmate was sitting, although he could see that he was a big fella. "The top bunk is yours" said a a gruff voice and so he climbed up and sat under his blanket, hoping the night would be quiet and pass without any trouble. The night slowly passed without a word being said, until a voice from below called out "do you like games? I like games". He thought for a moment and thought it best not to offend and so he said "Yes". The voice said "oh good - we're going to play mummies and daddies. Do you want to be mummy or daddy"? Shit, he thought, as his mind was working in overdrive in search of a response that would a) not offend his new found mate and b) not involve him being buggered. After a few view moments he replied "daddy" - thinking he had dodged that bullet. "Oh, ok then" came the reply, followed by a long period of silence. Thinking that was it, he started to drop off until the voice said "Daddy"? So he said "yes Mummy"? "Get down here and suck Mummy's dick!"
  24. Got woken up in the early hours the other day by a badger on our patio!! We've had the odd fox or two but never expected this. It'd gone by the time I found my phone.
