It's funny because I've never really gotten into The Strokes, but their emergence effectively killed Nu-Metal, especially in the mainstream, and I am grateful for that. It needed to happen.

When OK Computer came out there were bands that really benefitted from it. Early Muse and early Coldplay definitely spring to mind, regardless of what you think of them. Their influence on more alternative music is undeniable with Kid A and In Rainbows too.

Not sure it's that unpopular.

Although he was never going to relegate us, the same applies to his short term replacement, Martin O'Neill. I think it will be great to see Hearts win the league but I really want to see Martin O'Neill to do well at Celtic even in the short-term because I love the man, but also because if he does, it will really show Rodgers up.

I am conflicted now. I want to see Hearts win the league because it would be great to see a different title winner in Scotland. However, Celtic kicking on and winning the league would really show Rodgers up and could ruin his chances of getting a decent job if he doesn't find one in the next few months. I am that petty, yes. We are in the dire position we're in now largely, but not solely because of Rodgers.

Leicester Half Marathon in 1:57. It was only my second Half Marathon but I beat my previous time of 2:03. I started much further back than I would have liked to but it was packed and I couldn'tget further forward. I started by the 2:20 pacer so spent the first mile or so just getting past people. Really pleased with my effort. I wasn't expecting sub 2 hours.

Taxi tour is a must. Best Guinness in the city centre is Maddens or Bittles in my experience. If you have the chance to have a pint on the Falls or the Shankill, I'd recommend that too. Much cheaper than the city centre and the pints are still great.

Nah, he's not getting any pelters from me. There's not really anything he can do about almost our entire outfield giving them ball away so cheaply in the first half and one of our players making a rash challenge to get himself sent off. He made changes at half-time which gave us far more control in the game and we got a point with ten men. You can make the argument that Winks should be starting, sure. However, several people on here have been claiming that Winks should never play for us again. Can't have it both ways. Now that we have Jordan James and Winks having put in that performance, I'm hoping we don't we Soumare and Skipp playing as a pair so often.
