I am 56 and made sure I put as much as I could into my pension during my 40's. The pot grew well as most have done over the long term. Was grateful as ill health for an extended period meant I was unemployed and had used up all my savings but was able to dip into the pension pot at 55 and clear the remnants of the mortgage and have some money to survive until I am back on my feet. The moral is keep saving as much as you can into a share Isa or a pension as you never know whats round the corner and retirement may last longer than you think.

....Simples! -- Its a business for the club, they are less concerned about what the fans really want ( cup runs and maybe a final even!). The league cup pays no prize money worth talking about, the FA cup has some prize money but again its a pittance for premier clubs when compared to another place higher in the league. ...yes their are Europa league places on offer but the risk v reward is not ideal. Sadly this isn't changing any time soon so we have to get used to lousy reserve team run outs. Its just a pity our reserves are so poor!

Having watched most of the game on TV again, I thought we played reasonably well against a much better side who are more fluid than us. They missed some real sitters which would have killed us off and equally we had chances to score again. No different to many 'what if' situations in all games we play. Time to move on methinks now and see what happens in Jan with a more relaxed schedule and new player(s).

Ok, so have only watched the sky highlights and therefore missed most of the poor performances of midfield. We clearly had chances but they were not put away which is becoming a regular comment unfortunately. Wish Claude would try his subs 15 mins earlier We are 8th because that’s how good we are after having played everyone, if riyad goes we will fall down the table but how far is up to the manager.

Unfortunately was late for the tifo but.. At least The Birch lifted the mood with the entertainment at half time. ..the rest of the afternoon was a complete mess Very worried that Claude could not recognise things need to change at half time. Maybe a late night on Wednesday and this early start was another poor excuse for the players not turning up. ...roll on to two games against the so called elite and hoping the players rise to the occasion

We were hopeless in the 1st half and yet nothing changed much in the 2nd half until the subs came on but it was too late in the day by then. He is showing a stubborn trait which is going to cost us in the future and that is frustrating.

I think everyone who saw the match tonight would agree there are many things wrong at the club and within the team. he will not resign though it's financially wrong for him.

I did not want him appointed permanently and after recent performances, nothing has changed. The owners will give him some more time but the ending will be the same as last season and Claudio. I just hope they do not leave it so late that the inevitable relegation challenge proves too tricky. A replacement with both proven experience AND ambition please.
