I’ve given the Board a lot of stick from the start of this and agree that they still have a lot to answer for, but I will add, whoever made the decision to switch the Accounting Period to end of June, is a genius! I wonder whether we were speaking with that Lawyer as early as last season to exploit that gap in the Rules. Absolutely love what we’ve done there, and the EPL should be thanking us for highlighting the gaps in their Rules. the EPL and EFL statements I’ve read are pathetic quite frankly, and inparticular the EPL’s statement is filled with hypocrisy, talking about integrity … when they havent penalised any of the Rich 6 yet … let’s see what integrity looks like in the EPL’s eyes with Man City and I assume Chelsea at some point …?

Serious question … is this guy any good?
-
At Roma, yes! 🤣
-
This was always the risk with this deal, an Argentinian currently plying his trade in Italy, having the choice between Rome or Leicester. Goes without saying that if Roma and Juve agree a fee, then he ends up in Rome, and not here.
-
He’ll have to if Bouba is on the pitch at the same time!!
-
Not sure if his name has been mentioned in the previous 51 pages but would anyone take a punt on Cesc Fabregas as next manager? Just got Como promoted to Serie A. Might be an interesting appointment.

Beautifully put!! 🤣👏🏻

What if I told you, this wasn’t a dream!?

I understand that logic, but equally, having just spent a season in the Championship with a season average capacity in the upper ninety percents, they just need to crack on! There is risk in everything we do, and if they run the Club as incompetently as they have in the last 2 years then more seasons in the Championship await, but if KP are true to their word in terms of their ambitions, then it’s imperative they get on with the expansion, and arguably more importantly, the wider development outside of the stadium so that we can grow our revenues to make us more competitive.

And what the hell does that say? 🤣 -
Alright show off!!

The Club shithousing their own fans by rocking up 45mins late to their own trophy parade was pretty impressive!

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
MalletFox replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I’m seeing it mainly on FB in response to me continuously posting “🎶I PREDICT THE PLAYOFFS, I PREDICT THE PLAYOFFS 🎶”, it’s really winding them up a treat! Do you think the Club will go troll overload and actually play that at full-time tomorrow? I would absolutely love that!! -
What an absolute legend of the Club, achieved pretty much everything he or us could have ever dreamt of and seems to be a genuinely top guy! Hopefully we have him in some away ends next season!!! 🦊💙👏🏻

Couldn’t agree more with this, and I think after a season in the Championship, some may have forgot about the gulf in quality to the Premier League. Faes was truly shambolic in games last season, lacking some of the basics and I genuinely don’t see him being a solid defender at Prem level next season. He’ll be a sitting duck who gets exposed behind him, gets caught out ball watching and in the Prem, was always 2 yards deeper than the rest of the backline playing wide players onside consistently.
-
He’s the best ref in the League by a country mile, think we first had him against Watford at home, he’s been superb in literally every game I think I’ve seen him. Vaguely recall he got a Prem game (or games) for a period of time too, hopefully he makes the step up with us.
-
I know a Everton fan who says exactly the same thing, the levels of delusion are incredible. Has Coleman ever actually won anything? That’s a rhetorical question btw!
-
Enzo’s reluctance to drop Faes is baffling, this back line didn’t work against Sheff Weds, you’ve got Doyle and Justin who can play LB but Enzo doesn’t appear to have the minerals to drop Faes, which is concerning. Keeping everything crossed we get the points, but Enzo needs to grow a pair regards Faes!
-
Those 2 words perfectly sum up Wout Faes. He hasn’t a clue how utter garbage he actually is.
-
Completely agree, and this is part of Enzo’s development too. I know he’s insistent in playing this way, but unless we bring in a lot more quality in the summer, he’s going to have to be adaptable in terms of style to pick up points in the Prem!
-
I think it’s still a little early to judge tbh… if Enzo gets us promoted then it’s mission accomplished, and with the huge turnover in players, embedding a completely new style, picking up the morale of the squad (which was on the floor), then he’s done pretty well! The football itself is pretty turgid at times, but in the earlier part of the season you could see what we were trying and it was working more often than not. It does feel like we’re stuck in a bit of a rut now though, confidence and form is varying from player to player, the fluidity and pace of the play has now seemingly slowed (possibly as teams have now figured out our patterns of play), and I should think a good portion attributed to a bit of pressure getting to the team and management. Last night (& QPR at home) were really bad ones, but in the main it’s missed chances that have cost us where we haven’t won recently, especially Bristol City (A) Vards could have scored a hatrick quite comfortably and Boro (H) we had 4 x great chances (Daka, Vards & Vesty x 2). Enzo needs to recognise when things are stale in the game (not to be misinterpreted for being patient), and when changes are needed. He’s still learning himself, so he will have errors in judgement himself.
-
Exactly what we should have done tonight!
-
A pivotal moment so early in the game, a golden opportunity which in a nutshell summarises why he’s playing for us and not higher following recent form. Moments of brilliance in the last 2 games, followed by today which was exceptionally bad. I will say he continued to work hard all game though so kudos to him for that.
-
I think we lack leadership on the pitch, to get through games too. For me, it’s crying out for Coady, yes we have a philosophy and principles, but whatever Enzo thinks, there is also an element of ‘getting the job done!’. And that needs to restart on Friday.
-
It’s great he’s come back into some serious form, the last 2 games and his cameo today he’s been back to his best after some flat, ineffective performances. He’ll undoubtedly start on Friday so here’s hoping he continues his recent resurgence! Was a real threat tonight 👏🏻
