Tbf if you watched Under before and after his loan with us, he’s always just shot from 40 yards. The lad loves it. In very few glimpses he was a good player, but perez was the better option which says a lot.

I don’t think you can say his good spell lasted a couple of seasons tbf. He had one very good 6 month spell. Then 2 years since where he’s been an average prem striker at best. And before he had that good 6 month spell, he had a 2 year spell where he was dire. He can be excellent, but he’s had just as many bad games as he has good, and he’s had far more than both of being average.

Thought he looked pretty awful so far, Mcateer much better from what I’ve seen imo.

We played worse opposition in the cups last year and looked second best. Really nice to see us completely dominate, even when it’s expected.

Seeing vestegaard getting a lot of abuse, and while I don’t think he was great I don’t think he was awful, he’s just an easy target. In transition when the coverntry players were running at full speed at him, he was a deer in headlights. But other than that I thought he was fine, made some good tackles, blocks and clearances. Thought Faes was really bad, he was constantly out of position and doesn’t suit that right side at all from what we’ve seen so far. Both really lack pace, and Doyle’s not quick either so we 100% need an alternative there, of which JJ could be the answer.

I’ve been struggling to see how he fits in when everyone is fit. He really doesn’t seem right for the RCB position when we go to a back 3, enzo clearly prefers more mobile options there. And then although he’s good on the ball, I don’t think he’s good enough to play the central CB role that enzo wants either. If we could get Harwood-Bellis then I’d deffo be okay with Soutts leaving.

Tbf he’s playing Liverpool right now, at least give him a shot in the championship before we write that one off😂

I don’t think it matters who we play tbh, we lose our heads whenever we concede. These matches light be harsh, but we need this sort of thing to help us learn.

The players mentality has just collapsed, still lots of work to be done to build the confidence of these players after the last couple of seasons. Everybody is scared of making mistakes now and they’re all making silly errors.

Gone into our shell in the last 10 mins. Trying to play out the back still but look more rushed and less confident it’s going to work, leading to us giving away the ball much more.

Same people getting annoyed that we let contracts run down are now saying we should hold onto him. Make it make sense.

I feel like I post this on a weekly basis, but get a fuching grip you lot. So ironic than you’re complaining about having bad owners when you lot contribute to having the worst fan base around. Go support someone else if all you want to do is moan and complain.

You say that but we would have done well to do any better than we did. 2 fifth placed finishes, fa cup and a community shield. Europe was pretty underwhelming on the whole but still got some good away trips and eventually the semi final. Given the injuries we had (whether you can blame Brendan or not) we did pretty well and probably reached our ceiling. For all the ravings about Brighton they’ve still not achieved what we did. And will be interesting to see how well Newcastle fair this year, they’ve spent more than we could in a space of time but I’d still be surprised to see them finish higher than 5th. Obviously it all fell off a cliff and we spunked away a load of money but we still achieved so much.

I think the players have been really flat and demotivated for the last 18 months. Things seem a bit different now and wouldn’t be surprised to see more interaction from them this season.

He’s a decent player, I think in our team and at this level he would be useful. But he doesn’t have great technical ability and I’m unsure if he would be able to make the step up to the premier league.

Number 8 gutsav isaksen too, he’s be great at this level too.

Faes isn’t a big reason we’re at this level, could you imagine where we would have been without him? I know he’s not amazing but not sure why he gets hate, he’s fine and has always put in effort. Far better than most last season.

Yeah I’m losing faith in Daka as well, I really do think he can come good but feels less and less likely that it will be with us.
