Someone at work came up to me this week and started talking about Iran. Told him to kindly sod off. Socially acceptable, no. Good for my own noggin, absolutely. Parents had the same issue because they never "pre-cleaned" pots, so eventually all the buildup plugged the waste pipe like a fatberg. Quite easy to take the pipe out and make sure it's clear.

Not spoken to one of my brothers in almost 2 years. If you'd have asked me 3 years ago if I could ever fall out with family, I'd have said no, but things can change quick. It's sad that he'll never get to meet my son, but there are more important things that require my energy right now.

Think it's pretty common sense tbh. I lost mine at 15 with another 15 year old. Would have been odd, and unnecessary, if a teacher had started reporting us for it. And that was over 20 years ago.

Had the best of both worlds, had an accidental kid when I was 34. Got 2 now and love them to bits, would have hated them if I was 24 though. Wasn't finished living my life yet I don't think there is anything wrong with having kids if you can support them. Unless you're trying to procreate a football team or something crazy like that.

Everyone is going to have their own opinion and learn in their own way. I'm not in any way saying that this should be the only medium for educating parents, just that it will help some. In pretty much the same way that 13 reasons why and sex education, both fictional tv shows, helped with their own issues. Every little helps imo.

My old man, who's a country raised, men are men, men have no feelings caveman type rang me after he'd finished watching it and he was shaken up by it. Far too many parents don't understand what their kids see and/or do online and if a show like this can reach a man like my old man, it could reach enough people to be useful.
