More in the semifinals where there were plenty of English media, Vaughn, Lloyd and lots of sports journalists implying changing the pitch was cheating. That they were playing on turning wickets to gain unfair advantage. -

Funny, if you believe the English media, the Indians have been doctoring the pitches for home advantage. Seen no evidence of that in either sf or final. -

Strange game. Its supposed to be a slow turning wicket and the Indian spinners look completely useless. Just like they did in the semifinals. -
Keene was a great footballer but a vile human, revelling in the fact he'd ruined someone's career. Unfortunately it seems Caden's cut from a similar cloth, purposefully trying to end Alves career. Let's hope Alves becomes a regular in the team and goes on and has a fantastic career.

The disinterested way that Nacho has been playing these last few weeks, I think he already has offers. He certainly isn't playing like he's trying to impress for a new contract.

Looks a dead wicket for the seamers. Big total, but one of India's strengths has been their new ball bowlers, something which the wicket might negate. A good start and NZ could get close. -

He's been shown periodically throughout the whole game. -
Yeah there doesn't seem to be much thinking outside the box. When KDB got injured, Pep decided to play with 2 strikers. Kel almost played most of the game as a midfielder, coming deep to collect balls from Mads. With Ndidi injured it seems logical to play him in a deeper role with another striker up top, who ever that may be, but I dont think Enzo will ever do that as he sees it as a slight of his gameplan.

Cags 6 Bodgers 0 🤭

Yeah he's doing the unthinkable and making me want Spurs to do really well.

That passage of play epitomises alot of our games this season. Lots of nice passing and we made our way up the pitch well, but what was actually achieved. On one occasion Abdul smashes a ball from 30yrds and the other he over hits the cross. Literally zero to worry about for the Leeds defence.
-
He's had a stinker, no justification for it. Earlier in the season he gave an interview saying he was a box to box midfielder. I find that amazing because he's so slow and ponderous, looks out of his depth in the championship.
-
The way he was pinging the ball to them, he was their best midfielder.
-
Very disappointing. Both Vardy and Casadei were terrible, completely anonymous. Surprised Casey wasn't given a go and only 2 subs used, when so many played poorly. Not Enzo's best day.
-
If memory serves me right didnt he feign injury, so he didnt have to play for us towards the end of the season.

Frizell got a yellow in the 1st half too, so probably was most of the game.

Yeah I gave Ngannou 3rds and with the knockdown, gave it to Fury by 3pts, 96-93 just like one of the judges. Woke up today and all of a sudden its a robbery. There's no getting away from the Fury jab, its just he didn't throw it enough and with the power of Ngannou, it made it a closer fight then most thought. Great credit goes to Ngannou for the this, but he wasn't robbed.
-
NZ threw that game away. So many chances to win it.

Absolute dog shit. Amazingly still even at the break, but if we carry on like this, we're going to lose.

I'm surprised Sevilla were so impressed with his performance against Arsenal. Looked like he had the same defensive lapses he had here, poor positional sense, letting players run past him without tracking back. I'm hoping they dont change their minds as they see more of him.
-
I quite liked the idea that we went long to mix up out tactics, it shows flexibility that we'll need going forward. The only problem was that most of the long balls ended up with Sunderland. Mads passing was terrible and definitely needs improvement.

Wondering what the fireworks and light show was for. Congratulations Top.

Much more suited to the pace of continental football. Hopefully he gets some more game time so that Sevilla, or another team, take him off our hands

Such a great game, opened many people's eyes to just how good we could be. Also remember the 5-2 drubbing, when Collymore scored a hat trick. We do like to give these lot a thrashing from time to time. Let's hope we give them another one on Tuesday.
