  1. Bermondsey beer mile is a very good circuit, for another day!
  2. Haha do not hang around South bermondsey or the docks with a non SEL accent on a matchday. Drink in LB then walk down, you have plenty of time. Pint of Harvey's at the market porter, whatever is on rotation at the rake, ale at the bunch of grapes, pie and lager at the george and a stein at katzenjammers to finish off. Much better than a carling and a 'look' at blue anchor bermondsey
  3. Britney Spears' autobiography was strangely very readable. Otherwise this was a great story, fraud and conspiracy on the seas - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dead-Water-Hijacking-Maritime-Conspiracy/dp/0593329236/
  4. Probably, Stormzys team. So they will have funding. 3-0 win for the bulls today and the late flight back from Gatwick so enough time for sufficient pints for them! Incredibly the cancelled home match v horley (cancelled because a few horley players didn’t want to pay easyJet £10 surcharge, so the whole team got off the plane) has now been rearranged for a midweek. So that’s a good few grand on new flights and accommodation for the horley team, that the bulls have to stump up
  5. Mate, how many times has he bailed us out. Fantastic and deserved win. April is going to be superb, just enjoy the ride. Get a beer and toast the weekend.
  6. Or 1 person pays an IPTV provider £50 a year and watches every football match ever played anywhere in the world. These ratbags at Sky need to be taken down.
  7. True. And strangely enough I did similar yesterday. Saw Mcallisters goal for Liverpool and thought this could be an iconic title winning moment, similar to when Gerrard scored in the CL in 2004 and they went on to win it. Look HOW MUCH TIME AND SPACE HE HAS JUST OUTSIDE THE BOX!!! No one closing him down, no desire or fitness. Terrible athletes. The game was of such a poor quality, only a few years ago!!!!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgMjNN88m5o
  8. The tired and nonsensical argument that ‘the modern game is boring’ Another breathless match in the premier league, this is entertainment
  9. Completely agreed. Plus we had a thread of here with Leicester fans calling for us to sue Man City and Everton for half a billion quid, they’ve stolen our future etc etc. This forum provides enough comic delusion (amen) without having to go to other teams’ to get your fill
  10. Yeh, jasmine green tea twice a day, for over 12 years. Tend to take 100s of teabags from hotel breakfast on holiday, and fill the gaps with Twinings provided at work. Still never paid for a tea bag in my life
  11. The middle aged oracle of despondency is back!! Not content with telling everyone how enlightened you are by choosing ‘non league mate’ over Leicester, now here to turn people off joining the trust. Until you inevitably find a problem with non league. Would say this is the best advert for joining the trust, get involved instead of being that tipsy bystander at the bus stop
  12. Nice one. But if you’re walking to Surrey docks you might as well walk to Bermondsey and jump onto the jubilee there directly
  13. Yeh, sounds about right. Would also be a hell of an experience to walk from the den to bermondsey tube after a night game as an away fan, you'd get free drinks from German and Danish football tourists for life
  14. 11.59! You can walk to bermondsey tube station in 20 mins, or walk across the lambeth bridge and be at the coach station in 2 hours
  15. All true, fair enough I agree with you. My comment not directed at you, I am surprised there is negativity around his reaction. It's a high pressure match, I am glad he's showing a sign that he cares, much like Mavididi's celebration at the third goal.
  16. No need for everyone to be so snow-flakey about it on here, we're all grown ups. Fans gave it to him, he gave it back to the fans. Main thing is, we won.
  17. Did not realise cov v Ipswich is on Tues 30 April!!! I am away with clients for those two days, will be scoping a local bar that will hopefully show it. You're right, that could be the moment! Cov also play Leeds at home this Saturday. Championship and champions league midweeks look brilliant in April, I will be double screening often.
  18. Surprised at the positivity around Ipswich. They are different to Liverpool, Man City and Fergie's Man U, they aren't playing teams off the park and forcing in last min winners. Soton had huge chances at 2-1 up and did not take them, like many other matches Ipswich got away with it. They won't keep getting away with it. Leeds will be under huge pressure from their fanbase, can be a blessing and a curse. Overall surprised at why everyone isn't mega pumped at this forthcoming month, it's what having a hobby is all about!! A distraction from the more important things in real life, it's going to be brilliant.
  19. Absolutely agreed. Plus personally I got an inordinate amount of work and travel this month, and then an exam at the end of April. I need a frivolous distraction, and this excitement is perfect for that!!
  20. Wasn’t boring and wish we were still 190 points ahead but this is a damn lot of fun
  21. This is brilliant. A proper slug fest until the end. Put thar together with a belting PL finale, even better as a neutral, and I think I’ll be watching a LOT of football in April. Can’t wait
  22. Sky commentary said a similar thing when it first happened
  23. Brilliant, so he actually does slightly care. Glad he reacted
  24. Yeh it’s var ‘ruining’ the game, not the low standard officiating. That said, why is a man on the post at corners no longer a thing
  25. Yeh I always thought these stores for simple money washing fronts. May have started that way, but it seems that tobacco industry has gaslight the population into consuming another pointless product that will slowly and painfully kill you to smooth out declining revenue from cigarettes
