  1. I hope his eye for a pass does improve, far too greedy for my liking.
  2. So Lineker and heskey (just two examples) didn’t love the club because they left? harry will always be remembered in a positive light for us. Him and mahrez/drinky are worlds apart. He’s a professional young man who has handled this saga that has been ongoing since last summer extremely well. I’ll wish him all the best. We can’t blame him for wanting to win things or set his family up for life.

I read yesterday Liverpool are looking to sell for 21m. I’d go for that.
  4. All over this for 12m. Guys a machine.
  5. Rather have tarkowski if we are after a defender. Miles better imo.
  6. Am I the only person who sees a very selfish, egotistical young lad who thinks he’s David beckham? Dont get me wrong he’s a good player. But his attitude stinks to me. Goes missing and doesn’t put a shift in enough. ill never forget when he shot against Man City when albrighton was in space, and that’s the just the most recent example - there have been others. i just question his attitude and wether he’s a team player. And for that reason I’d accept a silly bid all day long. probably going to get shot down here for having an unpopular opinion. And I accept not many will agree, it’s just how I feel.
  7. Would be decent business. Low ish wage and low cost. No sell on but pretty much risk free. Good player and good attitude.
  8. I agree with this. Do be honest a quality winger and a quality central midfielder supplemented by prospects in the other areas I would be more than happy with. I just don’t think signing all young lads who aren’t quite there is the right idea.
  9. We need to get rid of gray. james, king, slimani I see as the more urgent ones. wouldnt mind if Adrien came back tbh. and I’d take any big bid for maguire. would also love nacho to go, he’s useless. and if a reasonable bid came in for mendy I’d let him walk too
  10. Danny Welbeck on a free transfer all day long. Him and Sturridge on 2 year contracts for free would be incredible business. Both comfortable out wide and down the middle. Seems like a no brainier to me.
  11. Don’t underestimate the power of the car window... niko you still playing lad? Dust your boots off...
  12. That would be my preference too! grey and ghezzal being offloaded is a no brainier. even if we had to sell albrighton to find these two I would be opposed to it. Don’t get me wrong I love albrighton, he’s our best wide option hands down. But if Bowen and James came in he would be down the pecking order and he isn’t getting any younger.
  13. I see where you are coming from but we need backup for youri, a similar, more attack minded playmaking midfielder. Rather than stacking defensive options in midfield. I just think it would make more sense and mean we wouldn’t have to change our style and gameplan if youri got an injury.
  14. It would make sense to sell if we can get anything close to what we paid. Hamza is good cover for cdm, money best spent elsewhere now we aren’t playing two defensive mids.
  15. Looks slow, off the pace and not very focussed and lacking confidence. Morgan is rightly starting ahead of him at the moment which is crazy if you think about it.
  16. He needs to see a psychologist. Something isn’t right, a shadow of his former self. Really not up to scratch to be starting imo.
  17. Personally, the title winning side will always be hero’s in my eyes. Even Kante, drinky and mahrez will always be hugely respected even if they betrayed us. morgan, Fuchs and Simpson are no different. they have been amazing for us in years gone by. What they have achieved with us had prolonged their Leicester careers this far when realistically we should have relegated them to back up sooner and brought in first team replacements. They say there’s no sentiment in football but that’s wrong at our club, though it seems only to be when it suits the owners - sacking ranieri for example. Id really like Wes to do his coaching badges, retire and become part of the backroom staff - even if it is with the u18 or u23 squad to start with. fuchs is still good backup, he’s a better full back than chilwell in my eyes and we made a mistake not bringing in a quality left back this summer. Though with Puel wanting more attacking fullbacks I do understand the reason for him and Simpson being phased out.
  18. We need to give puel until the end of the season. unless we look like we are in danger of going down at Christmas we should stick with him. I class myself as neither Puel in it Puel out. I’m a city fan and just want the best for the club. this season is a transitional period. We are going in a new direction. It’s about building for the future. If that means finishing 15th then so be it. Sometimes you have to go backwards to go forwards. if we do finish in the bottom half with few positives to take from the season, then come the summer it would be worth seeing what the other options are. But right now, this season, Puel is our man and we need to back him with our support. he needs the backing from the fans, we need the stadium atmosphere that we had when we won the league. Let’s get the KP rocking like it used to, put our faith in the wierd French b*stard and are where it takes us!
  19. Would be a great signing. Ricardo is more of a winger anyway, these two swapping over on the right would be insane.
  20. Would welcome this. Hes been great for us and I wish him all the best, but his time as our first choice right back is over.
  21. More on Benkovic from my Croatian friend who lives in Zagreb...
  22. I just had a quick word with a Croatian friend who lives in Zagreb. He told me that at £13m, Big Ben is a bargain. That he is young but very mentally strong.
  23. Whilst I completely agree, there’s a few scenarios that I could see this actually happening. for example, the likes of James, king, even Morgan don’t make the 25 man squad and nobody wants them - a few months in Belgium playing under a manager they love instead of not playing at all seems a viable option.
