Really hard to see where we're going to score a goal in any of our remaining matches. Absolutely pathetic

Leicester City FC - otherwise known as, we don't give a fcuk

Very sad news. Thoughts are with his family. Will always be part of the most amazing league victory ever. RIP Craig.

I pity anyone who missed that hurling final. Probably the best I've seen in many years. Unbelievable skill and fitness. Clare's third goal and that point on 87 minutes were just unbelievable. Amazing game. Lots of fun on X yesterday with people who'd never watched it before 😂 -
This collapse is utterly pathetic. What the hell has happened.

Must be 700 passes in our own half

Three disastrous results today even if the Forest one was expected. Don't see any way back. The team is filled with cowards and overpaid prima Donna's. The summer is a complete rebuild job of massive proportions. Only thing I take heart from is how Burnley dealt with relegation. In that regard the appointment of the manager in the summer is one of the most important in the clubs history.

Honestly don't know what has happened to Ndidi. A few seasons ago he was playing out of his skin. I know he has had his injury issues but his form is so bad I just don't see any justification for starting him.

Probably the most important game of the season. Lose I see no way back. Win and there is hope. A draw is meh!

Disastrous result. Too many players are happy taking the money and are well past their best. No way back for the club. A complete rebuild in the summer. I remember Ndidi was up there as one of our most important players but he is sadly just a shadow 9f the player he once was. Those at the top have messed up in keeping BR in charge too long, handing massive contracts to players not worth it which subsequently led to us not buying last summer. A sad day.

Really can't understand the love for Potter. He will be crushed by his experiences at Chelsea and I suspect will need time out, aside from whatever financial package he will be negotiating. He is like Rodgers in the style he wants teams to play, but that aside I think it will be a while before he is back in management. Tonight's game will tell us a lot about the players. If it's a win (and heaven forbid a decent performance!) it could lift the Rodgers cloud hanging over the club and we will all see where the problem has been as well as galvanising the team. A loss however could signal the players don't care and relegation it is. Time for these highly paid players to step up.

Some real willy pullers on this thread. The team played very well and lost two freak goals. Should have at the very least had a point. It isn't the gloom and dispair some are making out. Trolling and spoilt child syndrome is fairly easy to call out.

England - Always a bridesmaid, or overhyped?
Deebhoy replied to Sly's topic in General Football and Sport
For the resources England have, the entire infrastructure, the most popular and money making league in the world, it is repeated failure. Players aren't as good as they are hyped up to be like Kane and Rice. Man City paid £100 mill for Grealish and yet he rarely starts for both. Baffling. That said England were definitely the better team last night but this thing with penalties is going to haunt you until you can have a world class player like Pirlo who was able to produce magnificent displays regularly. -
You have to wonder what was the point of Southgate bringing Maddison to the World Cup. It was obvious he doesn't particularly like him as a player and he appeared to bow to a bit of pressure to pick him.

Juranovic was the man if the match today for Croatia. He's signed to 2026 and had been in talks about a new deal which had stalled. Celtic have played him at left back and he looked pretty comfortable there but right back is his position. I think that performance has probably added a bit of money to his valuation as everybody was raving about him.

I've a good excuse because I'm Irish and we always want England to get beat. Another factor is the appalling media and saturisation of England is going to win whatever competition they are playing in with little true analysis of their chances. As for the World Cup in general FIFA have completely messed up. I know I'll watch it but I've never felt this less excited about a major competition I've watched all my life. Depressing.

Jamie Vardy signs new contract to June 2024!
Deebhoy replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's done. Should be a sub. It's hard to accept as he has been so brilliant season after season but I think he needs benched more and the forward line reimagined. Up there with the greats but there comes a time in every career. -
0-1 nobody else wanna start the post match thread v Manure ?
Deebhoy replied to justfoxes's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bullshit. United were terrible second half and we played well up to the last third but we were totally blunt going forward. Its time to call out the obvious - Jamie is done and needs dropped and if Rodgers remains manager he needs to rethink the forward options. -
Suppose there's a difference between who you would like and who is available. Potter - zero chance. I'm not a fan really of Dyche but he is available and experienced and I feel its most likely the club will end up with him. As for Pottechino, they'd be mad not to ask the question at least. I suspect he want guarantees about span of role and of course money. His next move may well define him as a manager.

Wesley Fofana - He is no more - finished - forgotten.
Deebhoy replied to Sly's topic in Transfer Talk
Footballers really are an effin laugh. A cost of living crisis where millions are worried about paying bills and Fofana can't be arsed playing even though he signed a multi-million pound deal last year. Ridiculous. After losing the game yesterday I fully expect him to be gone later in the week. -
O'Riley is a fantastic talent and was a great bit of business by Celtic. Fans love him because they see the potential. Downside is he is not the finished article, plus side is he is developing quickly. As Muzzy said I'd be surprised if he left. He is loving it at Celtic and Champions League football will develop him further.

Good finish. I find the calls on Rodgers to get the sack bizzare. If the back line hadn't had so many injuries Leicester would have been higher. The thing for Rodgers is his signings haven't really worked out this season. He can't afford that next season. He really has to address losing so many goals to set peices.

Praet is a decent player but too injury prone. He's been out for Torino for over 2 months now and missed some other games. Scored a few but as only played a handful of games at 90 mins. If there's a clear out in the summer I suspect he'll be near the top of the list.

Massive and constant defensive injuries and loss of form early season of Ndidi, Barnes and Maddison and to some extent Vardy have significantly impacted the team. Maddison looks better but Barnes is still off. I'm sure Vardy would have found form again if he wasn't injured whilst Ndidi hasn't looked like himself at all. I also thought Soumare would do better. Brendan isn't blameless, tactically he has got it badly wrong on occasions, but sometimes you have a combination of situations that happen that would challenge any club.
