Some lunatics have bought my season ticket seats for Man City on the resale platform tonight š„³. Ā£30 back and a 12hr shift will be much more pleasurable

Ā£12m on Ward Ā£16m on Kristiansen Ā£15m on Vestergaard Ā£15m on Faes Ā£17m on Soumare Ā£20m on Skipp Ā£5m on 34yr old Ayew Thats just in todayās squad. Some would include Daka in that as well (I like him, but for the price tag I get it), probably justifiably at Ā£23m. Thatās Ā£123m wasted in poor recruitment. Surely as a director of football, youād at least have a performance review. Add losing Sƶyüncü and Tielemans for nothing. Chanted for Rudkin out today, and someone said what difference will it make. I think the list above demonstrates the answer.

Wolves 0-3 H Post Match Thread
DerbyshireFox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
That was truly disgraceful. Inept, didnāt win a second ball first half, and as for the defending, if you can call it that! Weāve seen some shockers this season but that has to top them all today. I never want to see Danny Ward in our goal ever again. I donāt believe in booing your own players, but I did with him today. I know it wonāt help him, but he must know heās stealing a living as a premier league keeper. The goals were atrocious all round from the defence. Justin for the second infuriated me, not even in school football would you leave a ball without knowing if someone was behind you. The lack of press was hugely concerning. Cunha was walking the ball into our half second half and we just stood and watched him! And even more worrying, Wolves werenāt even average today. We gave them the game. The hierarchy must take responsibility for the state of the squad. It is not good enough. 4-5 years of awful recruitment has really come home to roost, and Rudkin should go. I voiced that opinion in the stands today, to be met with āwhat goods that gonna do, itās the playersā. Yes it is, but who has put this shit show together! Top needs to look at where weāve fallen to on his watch. Nobody expects us to be regular European challengers long term, but the extent to what weāve dropped to is staggering, and shows how badly things have been run the last few years. We used to be the club to look at, now we are poorly run with a poor financial picture. I fear a period in the wilderness is upon us once again. It was a long way back last time, it could be an even longer road back if/when we go down again. Merry bloody Christmas!!- 335 replies

Newcastle 4 Leicester 0 Post Match Thread
DerbyshireFox replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Wasnāt expecting much with the dearth of options in midfield, but to say they were abject would be complimentary to them. Newcastle had an easy afternoon, could have had more if they wanted it. Ward goes in goal and concedes twice in 5 minutes. He shouldnāt even be getting on the bench. We canāt keep allowing so many shots, otherwise more score lines like this will start piling up. If he didnāt realise how poor the squad was before today, he does now. -

A lot being made of the 31 shots, but Iād only say 4/5 of them were clear cut. Hermansen was busier first half. Maybe a little fortunate with the disallowed goal and Coady stopped one on the line, but we had as many clear cut chances as them overall, we were just ruthless with them

Aggression, some energy and desire, thatās all I wanted to see tonight and got plenty of it. Still lots to work on, Mads kept us in the game first half, but itās nice to come away having enjoyed a game for the first time in ages. You could see a structure to the side off the ball (woefully lacking under Cooper) and a plan of attack going forward. El Khannous motm for me. Aggressive, quick feet, took his goal well. Best performance from him so far. Everyone worked their socks off. A shame to loose the clean sheet. Need to work on how many shots we concede, Brighton wonāt be so forgiving! But overall a great nights work. RRRUUUUDDDD š¦

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

Everyone can stop wetting the bed in panic now! -
Seemed a decent guy, but pleasantly surprised the board have acted and pulled the trigger. Didnāt think theyād have the guts to do it. Why they left it until after the international break I donāt know. Clear to see from the stands the lack of connection with the team, particularly in the lack of coherent style of play, but body language was telling. Hopefully theyāve done proper due diligence this time, and have a strong manager with a clear style of play in place.

It was very much like watching us in the championship against inferior teams. Chelsea dominated the ball, knew how they wanted to play, got a bit complacent at the back towards the end of the first half, but never looked in serious danger. Contrast that with our display. A defence that couldnāt give you the definition of what that actually means, a ball winner playing as an attacking (haha) midfielder, and no creativity due to injury, suspension etc. Expected what was served up, the only surprise is that we only conceded twice. The sooner Faes is dropped/driven back to Belgium the better, and the sooner we get hold of a manager that has a coherent plan and makes us harder to beat, the better. He hasnāt been helped by years of poor recruitment of course, but there are coaches available out there that can actually put a coherent style of play in place and put their own identity on a team. The board need to act, but we all know they wonāt.

24/25, the season that keeps on giving!

Unlikely to reach all sth Iām guessing even with the prices. Not been to Villa park since I was a kid sat in the home end (current away end I think) with my uncle when we drew 2-2 (I want to say Lennon scored a couple!). Managed to get away with celebrating at that age!

Thinking of Marrakesh for next year. Would be a solo trip, and whilst Iāve done a fair few city breaks solo, slightly holding back booking at the moment. Any tips or advice appreciated

I only did Zagreb when I went, but that was lovely. Lots of museums, can do a day trip to Slovenia. Any of the national parks are a must see. Plitvice was stunning when I was there. Can do trips over to Bosnia from split and Dubrovnik. Loads to do. Hoping to go back next year

Manchester United 3 - 0 Leicester City - Post Match Thread
DerbyshireFox replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
Decent-ish between the first and second goals, but other than that, to be expected when the team sheet came out. No threat, or belief we could be a threat. Abject defensively. Annoyingly United werenāt much better, but they knew they didnāt need to be. First time in over 20yrs Iāve left early. Rancid weather driving back to add to a rancid performance overall. I still donāt have a clue what Cooperās āplanā is. Everything around the club just feels bland. Weāve shown resilience at times with some late points, but we canāt keep relying on luck, because we simply donāt make enough of it. -

Go to the ticket office at Old Trafford (separate building behind the Alex Ferguson stand from memory) and as long as youāve got proof of purchase (confirmation email) theyāll reprint them for you. Had to do similar 6/7yrs ago when didnāt receive the ticket from the club š -

Due to be posted out this week -
Sobering night. First half we were decent but kamikaze at the back for 90mins. Use of the ball was woeful, the mistakes were incredible really! Painful to say it, but Forest look like a good outfit, with a more tactically astute manager and better quality players. First time Iāve had to say that in 25/30yrs! Big game next week

Could do, but 7 gave us a good balance of relaxing and exploring. They have a good ski season in Durmitor apparently! Advised to avoid in the height of summer as itās so hot. April May June, September October are good times to go š

Yes, we flew into Tivat from Birmingham with Jet2. Tiny airport, had to wait outside for the flight coming back with our flight delayed, luckily it was sunny! Podgorica is the other airport, can be reached direct from Manchester and London I believe. We had 7 nights in a basic guesthouse with an incredible view that worked out at Ā£190 each for 7 nights! Had a good balance of chill time and some great day trips. 70% of the country is mountains. Highly recommend it. Iād love to do Bosnia as well

Got back yesterday from a week in Montenegro š²šŖ. Absolutely beautiful country, didnāt want to come home. Stunning scenery. Great trips to Durmitor and Tara Canyon, LovÄen & mausoleum, Perast. Stayed in Kotor overlooking the bay, ten minutes walk into town. Tivat Airport was a novel experience coming back, but probably my favourite trip over the past couple of years
