Our right fullback in the greatest team we’ve ever had (Simmo) did nothing special either, he didn’t stand out just did his job defending and pushing Riyad up the pitch to do what he’s good at. Both good on the back post as a full back should be, Simmo more rugged and defensively sound, Thomas better on the ball but solid enough, certainly against the championship sides. He will be absolutely fine next year.

He’s head and shoulders better than Soumare, however that is a very very low bar, requiring the ability to run round a bit.
