  1. Worst display of the season so far, if Ruud doesn’t change at least 3 he can go for me, because sending out those two centre halves in the second half would be disastrous!
  2. No I actually think if Kante had stayed we’d have won it again. The system was fine we just needed to carry on, I don’t think the big clubs ever feared us or sat back.
  3. You play stalemate and bore us to death! A point is always a good result in this league. We need to do that at the City ground because if we try and pass out they’ll murder us.
  4. Good to see flavour of the month Brighton on the decline, tippy tappy rubbish. Forest play like us in title season, why oh why did we think changing style was a good idea? It got Claudio the sack too!
  5. Agreed Mav has no pace but I’d have gone 3-5-2 and given Vardy a partner in the quick but non prolific Daka! And the five could’ve slotted in Goodnight too!
  6. Yes, a certain George Armstrong right winger comes to mind, gray haired and gray beard, looked older than me now! And I’m mid sixties!
  7. In yet I’d have driven him to Fulham myself.
  8. Pick on the winger, it was always thus. Mind you he’s not good enough, but walks into this team, says it all. Oh for Demari Gray!
  9. He’s not been good, quality players around him at Spurs made him look good when he played or came on for them. Will probably shine in the muck and bullets next season.
  10. Yeah but he moved to a 4-4-2 and in that system you need stronger central midfielders, Goodnight and BEK are not that. The problem is although it allowed two up top, the midfielders we have aren’t good enough for that and we only have one winger at the club at the minute fit, and he’s not good enough either! We’re down and I look forward to playing in a league we will compete in, would hate to be a Palace every week clinging on to the league losing more than your winning, boring.
  11. Commentator is Fletcher, Forest fan!
  12. Agree with this, but we wouldn’t have won the league without Kante, massive influence, so all league winners, legends.
  13. I agree about playing youth players, but fail to see who’ll want half of this squad? Mads, BEK and maybe Winks, who else?
  14. They’ll rest players too, tough relegation battle for both of us and they play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday.
  15. I like Weghorst, think he’d be great down here, also mirroring the title winning team, 4-4-1-1 with Celtic player Maida behind Vardy ala Shinji.
  16. I don’t see that, and we only have two that would attract offers. Transfer embargo I guess would mean the likes of Macateer playing again but he shone in the championship. PSR has done for us as a premier outfit ( obviously poor recruitment and pay structure by us) , that league is a best of the world league, the championship is miles apart. Sheff Utd were far worse than us last season and are up there, in fact two of the relegated teams last year are. We ain’t doing a Luton.
  17. -10 points and we still make the playoffs. The gap is massive and only Mads and maybe Winks would attract offers.
  18. He’s fromShepshed, we’re his boyhood club, he may be a United fan but we’re his club.
  19. The year we won the league, once we’d played everyone once I said to my son we’re the best team in this and we’ll win it if we don’t bottle it. Using that analogy, we’re struggling. Yesterday’s performance however gave me hope, but I keep asking myself, if not us then who? It’ll need a window where we sign at least 2 that walk into the team and make a difference against the Brentford’s, Wolves, Fulham’s etc.
  20. Yeah I know but all good enough for championship promotion push.
  21. The only three anyone will want are who you’ve mentioned, which is probably why we bounce back up!
  22. He’s from Groby.
  23. I thought we did a lot more than huffing and puffing today. We grew into the game and made most of the running second half. We had quality today and we’re deserving of a point at least. As for quality, I’ve doubted too all season but this and the Anfield game has made me rethink, only Mavadidi and the two full backs lacked a bit today and for the first time this season we looked like a premier league outfit.
