Italy v Germany in the final I think. England out at the quarters. To be fair, England have no excuse, this is as strong a side a side they’ve had since I can remember. Problem, yet again is the manager….. some of the talent at his disposal is disgustingly good, yet he hasn’t got the minerals to manage them.
-
I wouldn’t be so sure, he was a dead cert for Slytheryn but made a shock move Griffindor! Got form.
-
Given our current situation, landing potter would be an absolute scope………
-
I think this is may be the case for most. Possibly even Soumaré. A new manager could get the best out of them, you never know…… the big issue is wages, but limited spend could potentially mean that’s not so much of an issue.
-
I didn’t think Barnes was ready, or KDH, and I definitely didn’t think Mcateer was on the radar. Alves and Braybrook have that as fifa says “special something” about them. The both of them are ready to be included into the first team.
-
There’s no way it will be 15 points. It will at a maximum be 6.
-
This is where this all falls apart…… So we have to sell our assets, to ensure we have enough money to comply with the regulations, but might not be able to spend any, which with a points deduction could lead to relegation thus heaping more financial pressure on the club……. Just ****ing scrap the lot, it’s nonsense.
-
Just got a feeling that he is going to really kick on next season.
-
I predict him and Nelson will have big seasons!
-
Dennis Praet, remembered for a miss hit pass V Brentford and a half decent goal against Stoke.
-
Really? How does that work? Was he signed when we were still technically under the PL rules and regs?
-
Does Stevie Wonder write the contracts up?

Thank for that thorough, and balance post.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

I don’t think it will even happen. I think what you’ll see if all premier league clubs demanding a change in the rules and the EPL will have to comply. -

The premier league is becoming desperate……. Whilst they’re being shafted, they’re trying to shaft the rest of us……. It’s almost like a mad dictator clambering to the last bit of power they have. I can see this genuinely all falling apart, Man City aren’t going to back down, they will relentlessly pursue their case, because they won’t accept defeat and be potentially relegated….. this whole this will likely end in the fall of the EPL on its current format. -
I think him being home grown adds a sentimental feeling to it. But if I’m being blunt, I think he’s good, but I don’t think he’s that good. If Chelsea were to offer £40m I’d laugh all the way to the bank. We could reinvest it (if done wisely) and end up in a strong position.

Valid points babs. Made me feel a bit better.

The more I think about it the more depressed I get. I really hope it isn’t Cooper. He’s definitely from the Aldi special buy isle.
-
Moyes is finished.
-
Not particularly happy or optimistic this will work. But he needs a chance.

I think Madders career is likely to be defined by injuries. He’s had significant surgery at a fairly young age, and I personally can’t see him lasting much longer playing at the top level. Probably one of the reasons there wasn’t a queue for him when we sold him. It’s a shame, but he will be one of these players who talent will never reach its full potential. My mate who’s a spurs fan said that the general consensus with his spursy mates is that he is overrated.

Scott chegg is one of my closest mates as well, lovely bloke.

Bob, it’s not 1999 anymore, move on.
