  1. Anyway onto the Cricket, at the moment we're top of the League!!! This club and EVERYTHING that comes from it currently is TOXIC, All of us need some time away from it as fans. We know the score at all levels, they patently don't or are just taking the fans for mugs. Sad indeed.
  2. I was at Everton & West Ham, what destroyed their confidence there?
  3. We went 14, 1, 12, 9, 9, 5, 5, 8, 18 our second longest spell in the top flight I believe in our history. So aside from the last season, most top half, plus 4-5 seasons in Europe & an FA Cup win & League Cup Semi. No IF we were setting a bar or expectations, take the cup and Europe away (thats is being entitled, but nice to have). Somewhere between 8th & 17th for at least another 5-10 seasons would have been a fair bar. WITH the benefit of - a well off owner, initially very invested in the club, an amazing training facility, a recent history of success, a 30k+ ground. If we compare ourselves to others: Palace have been in the top flight since 14/15, TOP 10 TWICE (and that was 10)!!!!, 11th to 15th the rest, they aren't leaving anytime soon, anybody been to Selhurst Park!!! Hammers have been in the top flight since 12/13, top 10 5 times, best 6th - 1 Trophy I don't see any reason that we can't be in that group based on those 9 years. That is the level we should be basing ourselves if it has gone somewhat badly. As for Brighton, Bournemouth, Wolves and Brentford, C'mon. It was all set up and they fell asleep on the job and sleptwalked into relegation in 23, and now are clueless and repeatedly reactive NOT proactive, now we're yoyo and its rock hard to get back and stay as this year proved.
  4. If they can get rid on the cheaper I think they will. I have no idea how much they are constrained by PSR now BUT it must be getting better AND the deadwood is starting to go, bye Danny. If they seriously retool, then they are bothered, if they say nothing & don’t then they don’t care.
  5. TBF We've all got the mugs.... Keep calm & carry on
  6. And I genuinely commend and thank you for that. And thanks for pushing for more, how sad there is such a "barrier" between the fans (who only want to spend their hard earned, look to an alternate route to the rest of their life for an personal/emotional/mental outlet) and the "club". Supporting is generally a shared experience, I'm sure that hasn't been as happy of late. Failure (over the last 3 years & the attitude on the pitch/in the dugout/in the posh seats, just magnify the disappointment. But again, great effort, thanks, keep going, there are LOADS behind & with you.
  7. Just get rid, actually I say that, he'd be ok in the champs, just never let him near the Prem in our team again, same with Vestergaard, proven Championship the pair.
  8. I think fans believe as an STH THEY'VE paid for their ticket and as a result they want to do with that what they want, so if they go on holiday for 2 weeks or are long term sick from nowhere etc. or whatever they can decide who has the ticket, its just flexibility. The club we all suspect, want to reduce that flexibility, because if they didn't they would probably be more flexible themselves NOW that we are about to be outside the diktats of the FPL and they could take the fans "on the journey" more. All their current approach has done, along with no visibility or communication about an abysmal season, much of which they are totally responsible for with bad decision followed by bad decision over 3-4 years now, is alienate a very unhappy fanbase further. £25 last year didn't help either. I want the card because I want the flexibility, I haven't missed more than about 1-2 games in the last 10 years, this year I AM going to miss probably more than 5 due to a big family event in the middle of the winter. I've also seen the repeated fiasco with digital tickets at the turnstiles. But I don't fit any exclusion criteria so down for Digital, probably frustratingly.
  9. Nothing further to add, the leaders have destroyed the club over at least a 5-7 year period, next year is year 4, and it now has the propensity to get worse
  10. We could have given ourselves a much better chance if we hadn't been toxic to incoming managers by having PSR sit over us, that was always a turn off. But as any promoted team will find, you almost have to get ALL your expenditure right. We got Khannouss, as for BDCR, Ayew, Skipp & Edouard, well we might be relegated this weekend. That was helped by giving Jannik & Hamza 3 year contracts last year when they had failed repeatedly in the top flight. Money well invested indeed. The manager, team spirit and the players kept us up in 2015, the owners & the Club infrastructure sent us down in 23 (thought we'd never go down) & 25 (damage done by PSR WASTE) and NOW we are a yo yo club IF lucky. They haven't clue and no drive or ambition to do EVERYTHING possible to get us back up AND survive. Marinakis (though a nutter), did whatever was required to keep them up, (don't care what happened this season, BUT they will be mid table next) and can kick on (like we did for 8 years). Teams can stay up, but its VERY HARD
  11. We have an ownership who can't afford to sack him AND probably don't have a sensible replacement. Nobody's coming now, they want to see what chance they have here, additionally its a pretty toxic environment. Both "Top" down (whilst Rudkin is here), we'll have a reputation now & if its a 50/50 you wouldn't come AND entitled, unmotivated, lazy players up. And a manager who knows exactly what he's doing and what the situation is and is TOTALLY staying for the best pay off he can get (understandably so, sadly). He's said the same thing in post match comments for the last 6 weeks plus, by this point you would be much angrier, he looks disappointed and no more. And he never says what he really thinks, no honesty.
  12. Laugh & be pleasantly surprised
  13. Have you not seen though, occasionally the "water carriers" are getting in good positions, taking too long and passing it off, and missing the best chance to have a go.
  14. I had my 50 added for Wolves, so could access tickets on the TUesday, yep, THEY DO IT AGAIN Was going, but then we both walked back from Manure and thought "maybe not". 670mins since a goal, 630mins since a home league goal, hmmmm.....
  15. There are 12 pages on here now? How many of them will we get? I presume they all come from good knowledge & investigation. For the beginning of this season, did we have Edouard (who?), Skipp, BDCR, Andre Ayew etc. on the list??????????????????
  16. STH, probably 10 aways this season, still going Forest BUT the 2-3 weeks international hiatus, the rubbish before AND I was at Everton (9secs) & West Ham, had an evening class on Wednesday and just didn't care coz I knew we'd lose, only looked coz I had transferred in Marmoush for FPL. We all understand: the manager (stealing a living & boring us with soundbites that are BS) the players (stealing & living & given up, either to return in the Champs or force a leave, retire or be pushed) the club management structure (out of their depth, with numerously repeated stupid decisions). If you add all of that together why for the death knell of a horrendous season when NONE of them care, should we,. Going for the social NO MORE, OUR LCFC Football actually spoils it. And with Football its the hope that kills you, you sit down and have a little bit of hope, actually really glad I've switched off. Focusing on trying to win my FPL league
  17. I hope they have learnt going forward: We have seen from subsequent head coaches now the call for a refresh of players. We’ve laboured ourselves with such a financial burden player wise, with them being overpaid and is owing millions more than they’re worth, that we can’t get rid of them until the expire and leave. This has certainly been INTEGRAL to why we struggled since we went down in 23. So they have done it themselves. But at some point the approach has to be: e.g. Soumare Yes we we want to buy you BUT your 1st year contract is £30k or £40k per week NOT £70-80k, if you don't like it we will look elsewhere, till you prove yourself. But I'm not holding out hope, they gave Choudry & Vestergaard repeat lengthy contracts after having failed numerous times at Premier League Level, I think 95% of fans would say we'll look elsewhere. And at 26 Edouard @ £90k per week is a starter, and how many games has be played? Businesses sack people for 1 decision like that, who is responsible? RVN has realised the mess and is just taking the money till he can go OR he gets a payoff. I mean we haven't scored FOREVER, the ire is moving from the Board to the manager. I mean this is on the BBC today!!! Embarrasing: Operation 'target Leicester' continues - FPL tips and team of week
  18. I would say, in about 5 out of the last 7 games he has had a big chance in the first half of every game, would they have changed the games? Maybe We couldn't afford that luxury of them not going in as a limited squad scrabbling a few weeks ago for survival, they had to be finished. Legend as he is, along with other 101 stupid actions Top & Rudkin have taken over the last 3-5 years. Seriously WHO comes into the FPL with a 38 year old striker as you main source of goals, when he scored 4 in the top flight in his last full season & Daka as back up. Thats not a setting you up for success approach.
  19. Bet he's glad he had that banner up in Copenhagen everything has gone wrong from that point and for him personally too, out the side generally for weeks now.
  20. Its quite bad, off the back of 8 or 9 out of the last 10 or 11 being VERY VERY good The thing that makes it worse is the "organisation" did it themselves, and we have come along for a VERY unpleasant, now turning into lengthy ride.
  21. I'm tomorrow but really surprisingly I've heard its going very slowly, I thought the fans would be mad for our last but one PL away for a while
  22. Like the last 3 months & again on Monday night. As they said on Dad's Army, we're doomed, the "board/owners" say nothing & we're all tired of moaning probably, I've just had enough of the rubbish they give for us to cheer, the players want off, we want them off and we all want the summer. And the thought of going to Wycombe on the 8th Aug (middle of Summer) isn't appealing, along with 10-15 midweek & Monday nights, hmmm. Championship don't worry bout a thing. Lets lighten the atmosphere somewhat.
  23. I saw this about the club today too: This news has just come out in Portugal, and will be all over the news in England on the TV and newspapers soon. Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, the owner of Leicester City, has announced that he is selling the club. He was quoted as saying, “My father and I had a dream, and we have realised that dream and more. However, I don’t think that King Power can take the club any further forward. We will always love Leicester and the people of Leicester”. The buyers are a multi-billion dollar Portuguese company, Dia da Mentira, based in Lisbon. They already have investments in Benfica (Portugal) and Santos (Brazil).
