Let's get it over and done with, might as well be super miserable about the match way before! Norwich are the most out-of-form side in the division, so a defeat is incoming —you know this is what we do best, because we are the ever-obliging Leicester City. Expect the defeat, and things can't get worse —or, on the bright side, they could get better?

Realistic Managerial Replacements

I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I just have this feeling that the board will choose someone on "style of play" rather than "style of management? -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
Le Renard replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
What's the point of changing managers and putting a sticking plaster on it? He'll only have to work with the same dross, same sh*t, different day! This malaise is all on the board, and no one else. -
Leicester 0-2 Blackburn POST MATCH THREAD
Le Renard replied to Muzzy_no7's topic in Leicester City Forum
This season was always going to be a right off, too many players in the squad who think they are better than they are. It was always going to take 2 to 3 seasons to turn this squad around into a promotion side. The question should be, does the manager have a free hand to do what he wants, or is he being pressured to play certain well-paid players? Because the evidence has been there to see for the last couple of years, we are dog sh*te. No sane person would play this so many sh*t players week after week. -
I don't think many managers can get a tune out of our dog sh*te squad. You have to blame the recruitment, it has been poor since Rodgers, and I think it would have to take a special coach/manager to sort out this shower of fecal uselessness.

There is plenty to choose from, some of it will be a personal dislike, or just the wrong manager at the wrong time. But for me, the criteria are the quality of the squad combined with the manager/coach. Rodgers has to be included for his last 18 months, the potential of the squad he inherited, and to go from that to utter dross in such a short space of time takes some beating. Not to mention he's so full of himself, which is a very unlikable character trait. I could add the usual suspects of Megson, Taylor, Levein, Ruud et al, but Rodgers' last 18-24 months are still too fresh in the memory.

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official
Le Renard replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ipsh*t are a bigger pull than us now. McAteer will now probably develop into a half-decent player now that he's left our sinking ship. -
The £66m spent on actual transfers will be spread over the length of the contract. £13m of loans, plus £66m spread over approximately 3 years, will then result in a figure of around £35m. Now, if clubs had to show the real amount coming in and out, then I would imagine almost every Premier League club and Championship club would be bankrupt.

I'm sick and tired of the club saying that players will only go for the correct valuation, we end up selling no one. Either clubs & agents hate dealing with us, or the club is incompetent? I suspect it is both!
-
Would have been anti-Dyche 2-3 years ago, but after the s**t show of the last two relegations, I've come to feel that the club is at year zero again and needs a reset. If Dyche gets us promoted playing neck-ache football and then continues with it in the prem, I'll put up with it.

I've got splinters on this one!

I don't care about the next shirt; I'm still waiting for the club to make an end-of-season "straight back down" edition shirt.
-
I would like to see some high-intensity football back at the KP. He would be better than RM, but I don't think Farke will happen. The squad would need a total rebuild, and there is no way Soumaré could do anything intense on a football pitch.
-
Coady was the solution to all our problems; a voice in the dressing room was all we needed. According to the club's investigation there was a lack of leaders, can't blame themselves; solution bring in a chippy lippy scouser that'll do the trick. For all his faults, at least he's showing a bit of pashun! Now, where's that pashun from Faeces!
-
The squad's a bit of a mish-mash, and probably the club will get some sanction in the EFL, making it hard to recruit certain players. I can see the club having no choice but to go for a Dyche-type manager, who'll have to work on a shoestring budget. Those with Torticollis will have to stay away from the match, as it will be too painful for them.

We've had a self-concieted vain manger in Rogers, and we don't need his acolyte Russell Martin to up the ante. I don't think I could stomach s**t coming out of his mouth.
-
No fight in this team; it is as if they have given up! I think this could be one of the worst, if not the most disliked team in living memory.

When did you first realise we don't have good owners?
Le Renard replied to Gamble92's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think their intentions are bad, and they're probably wondering why we fans are ungrateful bar stewards. But for me, it's the flip-flopping and lack of decision-making in decisive moments that has led to this freefall. Top needs to hand over the running of the club to someone competent and not get involved in the minutiae, the best managers and owners are those who delegate and let those beneath work their magic. -
As if an apology will make things better, it does not rectify anything. All I want is for our owner to learn from his rash mistakes because he's clearly out of his depth and shouldn't be making football decisions on a micro level.
-
I don't think we can judge Skipp at the moment. Leicester is a graveyard for several half-decent players, so it wouldn't surprise me that he would probably shine at the right club with the correct setup.
-
Wayne Rooney incoming; he takes any old job. Do we have any decent massage parlours chez Leicester?
-
I've just become numb, there is no anger left in my body, I just find it difficult to get interested(although there is a fools hope). It is like a mediocre 1980's film "Lifeforce" where space vampires(I think) suck all the life energy out of people. My club has done that to me!
-
For the love of god, I just want to see us score a goal, I can't remember that feeling of elation!
-
This is only news because we're crap at the moment, journalist scum bags smell blood and then in for the kill.....quelle surprise! None of this gets reported if the club is a safe mid-table team. Crap goes on like this at all clubs, and like yanited at the moment every mistep is taken out of context and blown up. Now we can all lament and say the players don't care, whereas I prefer to say they are s**t, and we deserve to be where we are because of their lack of ability.
