Just awful, disappointing after last seasons offering. Best kits we’ve had in years, in the championship 😂

Various Italian twitter pages this morning saying variations on West Ham coming in for him willing to pay €35m

Would be our first Brazilian

Guessing no coverage of this aside from what’s on villareal twitter? Given we’ve not even acknowledged it’s happening

I predict a riot -
If I were them I’d go for Costa or Maignan honestly, though who knows, he does know Mads

Who do you want for next season in the PL
FoxesWalk replied to Fightforever's topic in Transfer Talk
4 weeks from the season opener and our squad is looking pretty light on numbers and quality for a Premier League season IMO… We have lost so many goals from our squad in the last year or two, with departures and the aging of Vardy. -
Who would you start up top tonight?

Well it depends on what the game demands at the time, they offer different things. If we want to go a bit more direct, hold up the ball etc. then Toney, if we want someone running channels and looking to get in behind, turn the last defender, then Watkins. If you want an extra CDM, Kane. 0% chance Kane is dropped, but can see him being subbed again depending on the game state. -
As long as it’s a 4-5 year deal it’s fine, new PSR accounting period, divide the fee by the number of years on the contract and that’s the loss on this years accounts. We could get 2 or 3 around the 20m mark on 5 year deals I reckon. Probably central mids.

If it’s a 5yr deal it’s not that bad from a PSR perspective. We really need to be dropping similar money on at least one more CM, probably 2.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

I hate this league. The top level of club football is in such a dire state. -
Yeah I don’t disagree, he’s a good player, excellent movement as you say. I just prefer Toney for the way England are playing, especially with Pickford forced into going long quite often. He is the best of our forwards to offer that type of out ball and more traditional centre forward hold up play. Either would be better than Kane on recent evidence.
-
Watkins predominantly offers running in behind and pressing, where as Toney offers much more in general play, including being an out ball for Pickford, he can actual win headers, having better hold up play, running channels, pressing, and the lad has ice in his veins. Kane average position map in possession had him deeper than both of Englands holding midfielders vs Swiss, in front of the centre backs. He is in the team on reputation alone at the moment, is like playing with 10 men. He made 9 passes, majority in our own half.

Finally, this one been dragging on far too long

I’ve never seen so much single issue voting in one election. Whether it over Gaza or Small Boats, it’s had a big impact.

If 131 seats for the Tories is right it will be their worst result since they were formed in 1834. People here suggesting that it’s a good result for them 😂
-
I’m not sure I buy 13 reform seats

If they’re right, some of the national polling could be way out. This suggests 12% lab lead from polling averages: https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/fcgi-bin/calcwork23.py?seat=Leicestershire Mid
