  1. Oh dear, why all the bitterness towards people trying, in their own way, to effect the changes necessary at the club we all love?
  2. More comprehensive and accurate than the club's "internal review" I bet!
  3. Agree entirely but if Ruud staying turns out to be the lower cost option - and Ruud himself is willing to stay - I can very much see that happening
  4. True of the Boardroom too. Seems that the Board are totally absent too
  5. Perhaps they're telling you that you've outstayed your welcome and its time for you to go home
  6. I've got a season ticket but, for the fifth time this season, I'm not going. Too much respect for my own well-being.
  7. Hard to believe that anyone's in charge.....
  8. Only possible with the agreement of the other shareholders / boardmembers. I have no inside information but the wheels have come off so quickly and spectacularly after Vichai's death that I think there's lots going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. If it was just a matter of the chairman being incompetent, the other shareholders / boardmembers would surely have stepped in.
  9. Perhaps he just doesn't have access to the funds we think he has these days, or to the funds King Power have which are now under the control of other members of his family who are perhaps less sympathetic to LCFC
  10. What the club might do, as other Premier League clubs have already done, is to either abolish age / senior concessionary ticket prices altogether, or to limit concessionary price admission to particular areas of the stadium - in West Ham's case, to the less popular and less accessible areas. Can't imagine them doing that here if we're relegated - but who knows and what effect would that have on season ticket renewals? - but if we do manage to stay up I can very much see that happening. But anyway, I've already decided not to renew without there being drastic boardroom / management changes, none of which will happen
  11. Put my seat up for resale - feel by doing so that I'm being cruel, thoughtless, unkind to whichever poor soul has to go in my place.....
  12. Honestly, we all know that it doesn't matter who the manager is at this point, we need to bring in new senior management throughout the upper levels of the club to bring about the breath of fresh air we need and introduce a clear strategy into the club's forward planning. Reading this morning that there are signs of that approach being taken at Southampton with Danny Rohl possibly being lined up for the summer.
  13. However you look at it, nothing makes much sense when viewed against the background of recent results. I still think the most likely reasons for RvN still remaining in post are - a) the cost of sacking him at this point in the season, and b) Top can't face admitting that he was wrong to appoint RvN in the first place.
  14. If indeed ownership of the club is now in Top's name rather than that of King Power, it now becomes a matter of whether Top can raise or organise the necessary finance. King Power as a company wouldn't be directly involved. Without wishing to be unkind, it's also a question of whether Top is actually capable of organising or managing anything. We have yet to be convinced.
  15. All of which is quite true, but let's wait and see what actually happens
  16. If Ruud was Top's choice, sacking him would require Top to admit he made a mistake in appointing him. Don't think Top would be keen on doing that - would mean him losing 'face'.
  17. For me, the Frank McLintock season without doubt!!
  18. Man sitting next to me in the East Stand - also a season ticket holder - turned to me on 14 minutes and said " what on earth are they protesting about?" !!
  19. If Top hears that a protest is being planned, I cannot imagine for one moment that he will be at the game to witness it. Same for Susan most probably, neither are known for courageously facing criticism are they?
  20. I rather think that you've answered your own question there and if that isn't EPL's intention, it would certainly be the intention of some of their members.
