  1. Airports have got worse since they stopped having separate check in desks for each flights, rather than a free for all. Not sure if that still happens with some airlines but in my recent experience, particularly at Manchester you have all Tui customers for example in the same queue, regardless of flight time. There has got to be a more organised way of doing things, surely. As always though, a lot of the time its down to people making things busier. Now people are worried about queues they will get there earlier, thus making it worse. Not exactly thought this through but maybe each check in desk has security directly behind it, then you go through straight after dropping bags, might take longer initially but at least you are only queuing once. Then obviously a separate one for anyone not checking in bags.
  2. Was that spike not before it reached the bat?
  3. Good bowling admittedly but so poor from Pakistan. 120 should be a cruise even on difficult boundary hitting pitch, if you bat sensibly.
  4. The low scoring games bring exciting finishes but i prefer T20 when the balls flying every where. Pakistan are going to chuck a great chance away here, can see it.
  5. Gave away too many boundaries and the Aussies cleared the boundary well, that was the difference. Australia are a well drilled unit when things are going their way. All bases covered. He has a habit of shutting everyone up but think we are coming to the end of Bairstow in international cricket, needs to be opening or not in the side. Livingstone is living off reputation but he is not helped by coming in so low, doesn't give him a chance with only 5 overs left. The decision to bowl a part time spinner to two left handers, towards the small boundary in the powerplay was astonishing. No variety in the fast bowling, I'd remove Bairstow, promote Livingstone and have Curran has a left hander option who can also bat lower down the order. Yes, he has his bad bowling games occasionally but think he will suit these pitches. Wood and Archer are the same, but Archer has more variety.
  6. Can't see us chasing this. Bowling unit hasn't been good enough for a while. Need a big start.
  7. Going well this. Never easy when the batsmen are middling it. T20 is basically waiting for batsmen error
  8. Anything worse than an England home game?
  9. Pundits like to overrate Foden a bit, but Bellingham is the one who can drag others to a better level.
  10. Palmer strikes you as someone who will prefer to do something the harder way if possible. Alexander-Arnold getting better the longer this goes on. Too many decent players in this squad. That's it.
  11. Not sure Gordon does anything Harvey Barnes can't, other than maybe be a bit of a **** sometimes.
  12. Kane does a lot of good stuff when he comes deep. But is nowhere to be seen when he's needed in the box. Imagine how many goals he'd score if he just stayed in the box, like Haaland. Also gets in the way of Foden, who I don't think his best suited to the number 10 role, not in the England team anyway.
  13. Imagine this was made weeks ago and we are just waiting for him and Vardy to come back of their holidays. Interesting if Jannik now regrets this. But a 3 year contract is not all bad whoever the manager is. Should never have been 3 years, even if Enzo planned on staying.
  14. Not that he shouldn't, just surprised he did.
  15. The attacking talent will have to have a perfect tournament because that defence isn't good enough to win. Not that i blame Southgate for that as options are ridiculously limited. Surprised Southgate as gone with Eze and Wharton.
  16. Inside no 9 was pretty tense tonight, enjoyed it and probably one of the best I've seen in a while. Endings are a bit predictable now though.
  17. Don't necessarily want Cooper but its interesting how people react to different managers who's achievements are similar, or even better. Happy with Corberan but don't want Cooper for example.
  18. It's a tough sport to be good at, and it's very competitive but I don't think enough is said about how little we produce good level tennis players. I don't really know about the funding though but feel the UK should always be producing sports stars, whatever the sport. General British conditions must make it difficult for kids to get involved and focus on it.
  19. I'm convinced he will be our manager at some point, if he wants to be.
  20. The England job being available does make things a little interesting. Who might wait for that? Potter? Cooper maybe given his history in the set up?
  21. It's not completely out of the question that he goes to Chelsea and does well. In an ideal world he has some great ideas and better players make it work. I've enjoyed Fatawu, Mavididi and KDH but he's not got the likes of Palmer to work with. Don't think they really have the Winks role covered, Enzo would wish they still had Jorginho for that role.
  22. Can't see a future at Chelsea for Ben Chilwell under Enzo.
  23. Really unusual to lose your manager to Chelsea, having just won the Championship, and feel that Chelsea are the ones getting the raw deal. Some of the comments are over to the top, and arguably a bit disrespectful to his achievements here but that said, I have no disappointment feelings about him going.
  24. I remember a time where people were convinced we could try Klopp or Pochetinno, especially with them out of work We don't even get the unrealistic dreamers any more
  25. Going to end up with Ward again aren't we
