  1. 1. Tom Baker 2. Gordon Brown 3. Keith Richards 4. Gene Hackman 5. Geoffrey Boycott <40 Adele
  2. Do we know when squads are likely to be announced?
  3. That 'mysterious' key in the man drawer.
  4. Dennis cracked a small piece tooth on some overcooked pig in blankets. Likely out for 6 weeks.
  5. I just cant see anyone paying a fee. With Afcon, i can't even see us taking a short loan like we managed with Perez.
  6. Lino should intervene in this scenario.
  7. Take issue with that comment. It's not worrying at all, and we nullified the joint (with us) top scorers to 1 lucky goal. Ipswich gave that 2nd half everything they had, and they are 2nd for a reason, but the fine margin turned out to be the penalty call. I think Enzo was refreshingly philosophical about it - he understands you can't win every game. 'Getting the subs wrong' is a bit of a cliche, and the ball didn't bounce off a subs head yesterday. The amount of times fans lambast Hamza because he makes a rash challenge or gives the ball away, yet yesterday he was the knight in shining armour who would have saved the day. The upshot is, we don't have a sub who can replace KDH and Nacho had his chance to perform but was woeful. We can't run KDH into the ground and Nacho has checked out, but i think Enzo had to use him yesterday as his experience should have been key.
  8. Fatawu is (amazing) chaos, and when he beats his man it's beautiful. Mavididi has improved massively, is far more accomplished and is also playing with much more maturity. Fatawu has been somewhat nullified on the last 2 games, and Mavididi has excelled. I don't doubt however that Fatawu's chaos creates more opportunities than his goal contributions suggest, and his potential ceiling is much, much higher. He's only 19 for goodness sake!
  9. I think he's probably become a bit of a victim of being used in multiple positions. He is pretty versatile but its meant hes not really excelled anywhere. Against Rotherham he was very steady as Fatawu's replacement but offered none of the tools that Fatawu has, but in a way that game needed a steadier player at that point and Abdul was on a yellow. Yesterday, he was a really poor replacement for KDH, but to be fair i think KDH has improved massively in the last 10 games. When you've barely played in a role, it's hard to replace KDH in a pretty intense scenario. Probably needs to be given a role and be given the opportunity to do well in it.
  10. 6 goal contributions in 6 games (well - it's 5 really in the League, 1 of those games was an appearance in the milk cup ). Boggles my mind that Kels and Vardy only have 1 assist in 19 games.
  11. Such a bad take. Daka has been a pressing machine, causing lots of trouble for defenses who have ended up making mistakes. With his pace he has been dragging defenders around which has been a big contributor to the space we've been able to find. The 'any half decent striker would have scored' isn't right, as he was getting in the right place at the right time. How many times in earlier games did we see those crosses come in and either Vardy or Nacho were on the edge of the box? In the small amount of games he has played, he is one league goal behind Nacho and has 1 more assist than both Nacho and Vardy. That's not an accident and not something 'any half decent striker would do'. He's been rusty for sure, but had barely played since the Chelsea game last year. I think he has definitely improved since he started.
  12. Thought he was fine. Played the pass to Daka that led to the goal and didn't look a liabilty at the back against one of the paciest teams in the championship.
  13. He was taking pelters yesterday, but i thought he was fine. Played the ball to Daka that resulted in the Goal. He has far less game time than the others.
  14. I agree that Ipswich were scrappy, but i was very impressed with their energy, pace and intensity. However, I would be astonished if they could keep that up for the rest of the season. That style will have to burn out at some point and it looks like Hirst might be out for a little while too.
  15. He's had a lot of starts this season and he's not getting better. If his touch is so much better why does it bounce off him most of the time. The Mavadidi goal yesterday Daka takes the ball with his back to goal and uses his pace before distributing out wide - where do you get the 'he hasn't got a clue from'. Terrible take all round that.
  16. Disagree. Big game and Nacho is the senior experienced player who should be delivering. Coupled with the fact that Nacho had a point to prove with Daka taking his starting spot, means that Nacho should have upped his game and delivered. Now, Nacho went on to prove he should be nowhere near the squad anymore, but to some degree we needed that to happen. We are weeks away from Afcon. Cannon will get his chances.
  17. I would take that argument if he was at least working his socks off. You could kind of argue that Daka doesnt fit the way we play, but he has put 4 consecutive shifts in now, and you can see the effort he puts in. Nacho is lumbering around the pitch. Its not just a case of fitting the style, he simply not good enough and doesn't have the mentality to change that.
  18. Why the fek should Nacho start?
  19. Daka has taken his spot, so today was a chance to prove us all wrong. He doesn’t have the mentality for this. I don’t want to see his name on the team sheet anymore. He completely holds us back. That was one of the worst displays I’ve seen from one of our players for a long long time.
  20. Bottled 2 big decisions. Bad game.
  21. There was a lot of very good distribution as well. These are the games where he is going to get picked off and think he would have learned a lot from it.
  22. Fvck me.
  23. Lost the attacking shape when he came off. Made a couple of dodgy decisions but then everyone did. Still our best up top.
  24. Lost all our attacking shape when Nacho came on, and Cassasei simply not good enough to deal with a game like that. KDH was much missed. Nailed on penalty. Really poor from the ref who bottled a massive decision.
  25. Another goal contribution from Daka. Lovely goal from Stephi. Feels like Ipswich have to offer a lot more if they are going to beat us. Going to be a really interesting 2nd half.
