Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

One of the last times I had the longest living 3 grandparents all together for a regular family get-together was when this happened. I can still remember my gran's shock turning into into joy. -
It's honestly been an amazing couple of days watching Brexiteers and Reform people on social media warning that 16-17 year olds might not understand what they're voting for without a single shred of self reflection.

When are people going to learn that there’s a huge, huge difference between what journalists think we’re going to be deducted, what the EFL/Premier League WANT to deduct from us, and what our representatives will achieve for us in the independent panel. The EFL/PL both made multiple accusations and charges against us in the last two years. They failed to prove a single one against us. In fact, they actively managed to prove we hadn’t broken any of their rules. Worse, THEY are the ones who had broken their own rules. They even admitted their own rules were poorly written. We’re literally 4-0 up. Ignore the likes of Dorsett making predictions. It’s not based upon anything other than guesswork, ignorance of what’s actually happened, and fealty to the hand that feeds.

It’s unrecognisable from the club we supported THREE years ago when we were in the Europa Conference semi final. -
Would literally prefer Boko Haram.

Club statement: Leicester City are saddened to confirm that our pre season friendly against Bognor Regis FC has been cancelled after the discovery that we’d accidentally booked to play against Boko Haram. Also, our XI to take on Boko Haram:

I’ve heard we’re being sponsored by an American company called Wolf Cola. Their owner’s been allowed to choose his own sponsor design based on his favourite pastimes: #ITK

Something tells me they’re going to recreate this photo but with the longest serving member of the squad, Wilf.

Marti has taken one of those kneeling stool things hostage and QPR keep trying to tell him you can buy them from Rowena for £7.99 but Marti is refusing to give it back, saying he wants it as a memento as it’s branded with QPR colours. Apparently De Marco’s involved now. Whole things a ,mess.

Imagine how much money the club spent on building a small stand at the training ground for youth games and pre season friendlies only to build it in direct sunlight.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread
urban.spaceman replied to OntarioFox's topic in General Football and Sport
Yet another failure of the authorities to establish competent rules that actually work within the realities of the modern football they've created. Not a fan of multi club ownership but Palace's ownership had no reasonable need to dissolve their ownership to prepare for European competition by March 1st as by that point, they were 12th in the Premier League and nowhere near the European places, were out of the League Cup and were about to play in the 5th round of the FA Cup. They'd never won a trophy or qualified for Europe before. Meanwhile Forest spent most of the season in the Champions League places, so their own DID meet the deadline, only to falter and qualify for the Europa Conference League. Instead they've now been given a European promotion and stand to attain millions more in prize money, sponsorships, gate receipts and merchandising that they have explicitly not earned. This is the same Forest who, had they been given their 4 point deduction in the season they actually broke PSR rules, would have been relegated on goal difference. Palace should take this to CAS, not that I have much faith in their ability to come to the right conclusion. The authorities have turned this sport into a joke. -
For Danny Rohl it's Non-Hardy. Dodged a bullet.
