He’s been in quite a few big ‘Hollywood’ projects over the years. A couple of Pirates flicks, Rocketman, Venom 2, Matilda The Musical etc; A couple of Scorsese films and Boardwalk Empire on TV. His family seem to be quite happily settled in The Shire, doing their own thing rather than chasing much Hollywood stuff. Him and Hannah Walters set up their own production company during the pandemic aimed at developing projects from underrepresented voices (I entered last year but didn’t get through) as well as producing their own projects, like Boiling Point and Adolescence. They’ve reached a very niche part of the industry where they have the creative freedom to pretty much do what they want, which I’d consider a raging success IMO. Not many people get that, probably because not enough people seek it out.
