The Athena buffs can be good for damage prevention too, think there's some that deflect when dashing which is useful. I think the first time I won was with a shield build, possibly the one that fires beams when doing the bull rush. While charging the bullrush, the shield blocks the damage. Also, when he's doing the spinning laser beam, make sure to hide behind the rocks because they block the damage. I think it would have been a lot more comfortable if the daka for Ayew sub came earlier, alongside the Hamza for Bob sub.
