Bloody hell, we'll have a team of goalkeepers at this rate! It's the one area we don't need anyone!

Who do you want for next season in the PL

I prefer Filipe Filop. -
Good point. Perez had one good year out of 4 in the Premiership and what an expensive total waste of space he turned out to be!

Isn't volleyball the one where the ball is up in the air? Oh dear. In fairness though, I think you have to get the ball over the net and not in it, could be the way forward for him?

Percy article enzo set to stay, vardy and vesty new deals

Have you ever considered that it may have been the tactics and how he was being asked to play? Can you name any other successful 6'7" centre halves being asked to play such an incredibly high line and chase back like a racing snake after smaller more athletic strikers? Vestergaard had played his game for years both in Germany, England and internationally, his game and abilities were well exposed, only Rodgers asked him to depart from his strengths. As a slightly further back centre of three, in comparison, Enzo has utilised his strengths, particularly his considerable passing abilities. It was all so obvious. -
Absolutely, he blew about £100m on new players too so has no cause to complain about not being backed either. A major factor in their demise was Kompany's stubborn and intransigent supposed 'philosophy' with players that were incapable of doing it. Their playing out from the back was extremely poor at times and suicidal. Let's hope Enzo has noted that their performances together with his blips in judgement in Championship or there'll be a similar outcome for us next season I'd suggest. What we don't need is a Rodgers MK2.

The time to give him game time for his development was this last season in the Championship. There was ample opportunity to give him game time that was squandered.

Safe standing - time to act

Absolutely and blue and white plastic bowler hat with a blue party blower whistle! Uncanny, just realised I could get a job there as a customer friend 🙃. -

Considering the recent digital season ticket fiascos, it should be abundantly clear to everyone now that this sits in a similar box. It has nothing whatsoever to do with what supporters want for their matchday experience, it's all about the Top and Kingpower customer vision. They merely want a group of cinema goers that just hand over their money passively whilst smiling robotically and clapping their hands in the right places. How long before cue cards or onscreen notices to clap and cheer? -
I agree entirely. It's surely about getting fit and playing appropriate opposition to hone systems, tactics and getting players to gel. It's not about self promoting owner vanity schemes in meaningless competitions in Thailand. Having said that, looking at the unknown entourage during team on pitch celebrations and bus loads of the same faceless people on the parade, possibly that says more about what Top is all about?

Great offer I'm sure but one's enough 🤣🤣
-
Thanks very much.
-
That's reassuring thanks. Might be a daft question but ... I pay for both my season ticket and that of my adult son via direct debit. When my tickets arrive on my phone is there a way of either forwarding his to him on his phone or alternatively, somehow arrange for his to be sent to his email address? I can't seem to find a way to do the latter on the club site?

He scored the winning goal but the team won the cup including Schmeichel if you remember. One game and an admittedly excellent goal doesn't define his entire tenure with us. Along with Rodgers, one of the main protagonists to get us relegated which had big implications.
-
In fairness we had a complete chump as a manager then so it doesn't count really 🤣.
-
Wow, nor can I, what an absolute waste of space he's been. Another Rodgers triumph!
-
My thoughts entirely.
-
Sooner be a man light or promote an academy product than waste any more wages on this sick note mamby pamby part timer. A joy to see the back of him like it was his mate lazyboy Tielemans.
-
I'd certainly rather of had him than Perez!
-
I agree. I don't think I'd get pleasure out of any team going under, even our closest rivals. I had a friend at work who was a Coventry City fan and what they went through was awful and fair play to their fans that travelled wherever just to support their team. That's not to say that we didn't have any banter but nevertheless, there's a time and a place.
-
No, because Kompany was extremely poor that's why! He spent over £100m and stubbornly stuck to a 'philosophy' that his players couldn't play. Absolutely no attempt to adapt. IF Enzo stays, is given no money and there's a huge points deduction then no right minded club will judge him too harshly. On the contrary, if he was to make a half decent fist of it and only narrowly get relegated then there would be plenty who would see that as a positive.
-
A clubs finances will always be dynamic to a certain extent because there are problems that can unexpectedly arise. However, FFP could hardly have been unexpected unless the club are extremely thick 🤔. Having said that, with the playing staff that Enzo inherited coupled with the new signings and loans before the start of the season, he did bloody well as far as I'm concerned compared to most other Championship sides! Can't see any broken promises here? As for January, it's a notoriously problematic market anyway and sometimes you just have to accept you can't have everything you want. He had absolutely ample to work with and the Sensi deal only broke down due to the selling club shenanigans so no point in whining about it. He had plenty to work with. I'm sure he'll know what there is or isn't to spend before next season and if he isn't happy then just resign. It is what it is and what we don't want is another Rodgers bellyaching and blaming any bad results on anyone else but himself.

Thanks, I'll have a read 👍🏻
