  1. Can he play on either side really? I suggest not, he's been very poor. He is better on the right in fairness. Pre injury is history and he's certainly not as promising now.
  2. Nketiah? What exactly has he done to convince anyone that at his age he's now Premiership standard? Think I'd rather start getting Cannon ready now!
  3. If he wasn't ours, if we were to be promoted, would you really sign JJ? He's only really a squad player for us in the Championship, I don't see him improving any? The rate at which he gives the ball away would be a worry in the Premiership as there are better players there to punish us.
  4. Is that Nigel's Ostrich? 🤔
  5. And fell for all Rodger's blarney? This Top must be a real thick bugger if that's the case.
  6. Because they put another 'shit' manager in charge!
  7. I wonder what he thought the objective was then? How bizarre. There must be over half of the Championship that should be aiming for promotion via automatic or play off's. For some it's more of a tall order admittedly but you have to aim for it. Admittedly, at the start of the season, due to the aftermath of relegation, the sale of some of our players, the purchase or loan of others that need to bed in let alone the learning of a new system under a new manager, if by Christmas we'd have been in the top 6, I personally would have seen that as a decent start. However, with the stature of the club and the squad made available to Maresca, surely promotion would have to have been the ultimate target, what else could it be? Common sense!
  8. The clubs have been fairly circumspect about it all but the players wife intimated that they were looking forward to coming and that it was Milan who changed the goalposts.
  9. When his father was here to indulge him so much but also keep him in check all was fine. I just wonder how he's doing with the rest of his father's legacy for the family?
  10. True. If only he could run fast in the right direction at the right time 🤣
  11. Ndidi and Faes have just played two games in fairly quick succession for their country's. The former is unforgivable for me as the dope has been out injured for a long period, since when was that ever going to be a good idea! Players are responsible for managing themselves too and in his case he needs to remember who pays his wages!
  12. It's not a psychologist they need at the moment it’s a gynaecologist because they're playing like a bunch of *****!
  13. Hardly avoidable is it. If players want to run down their contracts to try and get a better financial package and signing on fee and many do now, there's not a flying figure any dof can do about it! You can't sell who refuses to move or who nobody wants for that matter. A number of our players are on good money that is unlikely to be matched but that's another story.
  14. However bad they've been, whilst Faes occasionally makes the odd successful forage forward, he's miles off being anywhere near the standard of the others. Not exactly fleet of foot, he's currently struggling to read the game as a centre half let alone in a faster paced midfield, he's missing runners and getting rolled already, God only knows what would happen further up. His concentration levels were usually pretty poor later on in games anyway but were apparent even in the first half against Bristol! I sometimes think he appears a bit arrogant as if the Championship is a bit beneath him. He certainly, just imo, needs dropping for a while in favour of Coady, Nelson or even Souttar. He's a liability at the moment at centre half let alone left to wander round in midfield!
  15. Yet out of all his club and international managers, only you have seen him as anything other than a centre half? Clearly management at a high level beckons!
  16. Sadly, without his previous team around him he's not exactly been a success anywhere since leaving us. Don't let's spoil the memories.
  17. Absolutely true Matt. I should have worded it ie 'we' got stuck with Rodgers, Top had a choice.
  18. There can be no replacements, we can't afford to get rid and pay this one off. We're stuck with him like we were with Rodgers.
  19. Mcateer and Wanya absolutely pointless. Mcateer in particular offers absolutely nothing.
  20. Just don't go in. Simple.
  21. Do you know why he didn't get in their team? Probably didn't fit the system? He couldn't have done any worse than our other two yesterday and would have fresh legs too. At least he can pass and cross without constantly giving the ball away.
  22. Albrighton for a start, not only for his experience and work rate, but he'll at least deliver the ball into the opposition box without fannying around for 5 minutes.
  23. They haven't got the money to fire him!
  24. Perhaps time to load the Cannon?
  25. Reminds me of somebody else that does. Are Top's pants being pulled down again by any chance?
